I loved the cheese museum and the archives of the bullfighter who got gored fatally in Manzanares in 1934. I loved the 13 euros menu lunch at Menano. Paella for one was possible and was only a first course. Main course followed plus dessert, drink and coffee. Super fast service too.

It was a unique and different type of property convenient off the main route so it was just perfect for a one night stay. We ate both lunch and an evening snack at their restaurant and both were enjoyed. We would stay there again if passing through.

Hotel well placed and easy to find, very near to motorway. Attentive staff
even though stretched by full house. Plenty of free parking. This hotel has it's own swimming pool, most welcome on such a hot day.

Small lazy town worth visiting for the many good cheese...
Small lazy town worth visiting for the many good cheese factories in the area. A very good producer of cheese - Antonio Cabrera - can be found in the main street in the center, just across the Mercadona shop (Calle Jesus del Perdon 41). The aging celler is from 1780, the family (now fourth generation) has been making cheese since 1932.
The hotel states it has baths and showers, and I requested a bath, but when we got to the hotel,
the receptionist said none of the rooms had a bathtub, my wife has arthritis and after a long journey she needs to soak in a hot bath, to relieve the pain,
could you therefor please ensure that hoteliers give the correct information in there descriptions so as not to expect there is a bathtub, especially when you get a reply from them saying they will accommodate us with a bathtub in the bathroom, thank you, Mr Brian Tweed.
We were looking for a nice quaint hotel to break our journey from Cordoba to Alicante and this one popped up on Booking. We didn't expect it to be this rustic but it surely was a nice experience! It it very basic in everything but we enjoyed the authentic feel to it. Yes the floors were creaky and you can hear your neighbors chatting but that's kind of part of the deal if you go for an old castle in this price range. We don't really eat breakfast so a tostada with marmalade was enough for us.
Difficult to find even with the SatNav as streets are closed at certain times of the year. The hotel was a fort and interesting. The beds were not to my liking and don't even think about booking if you are disabled as the rooms are on 2 floors with the shower room and toilet on the ground floor. Going down the stairs are dangerous in my opinion.
In saying that the staff were very helpful and the simple breakfast very good. The evening meal in the dining room was also very good.
The room was spacious, with a balcony looking over the garden. A very traditional hotel with excellent staff who took great trouble to ensure our stay was comfortable. Their cleanliness and covid measures were superb.
We dined in the hotel restaurant where the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Walking through the gardens was a delight, we could hear all the birds singing and it was a piece of paradise.
Spacious hotel with large bedrooms and excellent private parking. Located within 800 metres of the main dual carriageway with exceptional staff and facilities.
Dinner was very good and breakfast was of good quality, nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
Really fun hotel built into a historic castle, with a solid restaurant/cafe on-site. Rooms were large, interesting, and well furnished. The castle itself was fun to explore. Located in a quiet, safe part of Manzanares.
This is a unique hotel with two story rooms. The bathroom was renovated and very nice. It has a very nice little bar and they serve delicious tapas. They spoke a little English, which made it easy for us.
Hotel food was very good it was just a stop over for us so didn't look round the town much and it was so hot to walk about but what we did see looked nice would us the Hotel again if that way on
great location. we had to drive from Granada to Madrid for an early flight and the hotel was perfectly located to allow us to have a nice sleep before our flight.
the staff are nice and friendly , I left my favorite coat and they send it to me immediately, I am a very happy costumer . Hotel Saga is highly recommended
