I loved how friendly and personable the ladies were who ran the hotel during our stay. They were fun to talk to and very attentive to our needs. This hotel is in a small town in La Mancha that has a remarkable set of preserved windmills. We hardly expected to find lodging as charming and elegant in such a small town, but it was beautiful and very convenient to our mission of photographing the windmills. Our host could not have been more welcoming and helpful and his dinner recommendation (the Gaudy) was perhaps the best meal we’ve had in a month of travel in Spain. He even included two kinds of homemade pound cake with the lavish breakfast buffet that greeted us the next morning. If your travels take you anywhere near this town, make it a point to stay at this exquisite boutique hotel.
