Housed in a 20th-century building, this family-run hotel offers an on-site à la carte restaurant preparing traditional dishes of the area; and views of the sea and the surroundings.

I enjoyed so much talking with the host, an older woman who has been a host for years and now shares the role with her son, etc. I speak English and she speaks Spanish, but we were able to communicate and actually had fun doing so, due to her enthusiasm and effort! She's one of the sweetest hosts ever.
This place is truly gorgeous--historic and well-maintained. We stayed in the little apartment with views, including a large balcony, that faced the water. Dreamy! Even if you don't stay in that apartment, there is a shared living room with balcony space too.
The son of the host (also a host) gave wonderful recommendations for a scenic drive up a mountain on the way to the national park (Picos de Europa). While we wanted to get to the park, we didn't have time, but this gorgeous little mountain drive was the next best thing! Ask about this. I also recommend the following for either a solo or romantic journey:
*Walking Playa de La Griega beach for a picnic
*Dining at El Meson del Pescados (spendy, but an amazing food experience)!
We were here in November, and it was an ideal time--temps in the 60s (F) during the day and very few tourists. The only downside of that timing is a lot of places close. We were so grateful to stay at this beautiful hotel. Don't forget to have breakfast there too. It's amazing! :)
Hotel Palacio de los Vallados is in the charming Asturian town of Lastres, 200 metres from the beach. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the sea or the Sueve Mountains.

We visited outside high season, so lots of tourist and souvenir shops were closed. Our stay included Monday kitchen closing in our Hotel but two seafood cafe/restaurants were open down by the harbour. The main draws are the views along the coast from above the town and the quaint whaler's and fisherman's village houses in a tangle of pedestrianised back streets; very atmospheric and probably very busy in high season. Well worth a detour, especially if you can book dinner at Hotel Eutemio. The sea views from the dining room is somewhat blocked by another hotel but the food, service and atmosphere were all amazing

Working port with separate small clean looking beach.
Working port with separate small clean looking beach. Village built in to hillside, lots of stairs 169 from beach to hotel terrace.
After pilgrim accomodation in Santiago de Compostela this was a real break.
My son and I traveled for 3 weeks in Spain and this was probably our favorite. Lastres itself is a magical little town, and the hotel fits right in. We were able to check in early and the room was beautiful, with a huge walk in closet and terrace looking out over the port and sea. We also ate dinner and breakfast there, so delicious. Homemade food, farm to table, with generous portions. The customer service was top notch, friendly without being pretentious. Ana gave us recommendations for our next stop, everyone was so happy there.
When I arrived at the hotel with my bike, one of the receptionists came out of the hotel telling me where to store my bike. They had expected me and the welcome couldnt be any better
. Amazing location of Hotel Lastres . Upon check-in, all was professional and quick. The room was a single bed room, but more than large enough for one person with a great bathroom .
The dinner on the terras was wonderful, especially with the amazing views. Breakfast was again taken on the terras ... highly recommended
Great location the family that runs the restaurant and the hotel could not be more friendly and accommodating. Room was big the one with the terrace. It was extremely spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Aida is the heart and soul of the place.
Their breakfast is typical from the region and it was plentiful and freshly cooked to order. We tried the restaurant and it is one of the best in town.
The very friendly welcome in a family run hotel. I arrived totally drenched after 3 days walking against the DANA rainstorm. I was handed a hot cup of tea straight away and my very wet clothes and boots were taken away to the hotel hot room. Very helpful friendly people, they even organized a lift for me the next morning as it was too dangerous to continue walking. Gracias.
Superb location and well-provisioned house in the beautiful village of Lastres. This house originally belonged to a fisherman, as evidenced by concaved hearth rocks where knives were sharpened. Friendly, helpful hosts.
Everyone was so helpful and nice at the hotel. Our room had plenty of storage space and sitting reas, both inside and outside. We ate both evenings at the restaurant and enjoyed excellent meals.
The staff were just so friendly, accommodating and kind, full of advice about things to see and do, and intent on making sure you enjoy all that Lastres and Asturias has to offer.
