The manager Ellie is very welcoming and an excellent host. She maintains an interesting kitchen with eclectic non-Spanish food options. The curry was very tasty.

Loved the huge space and balcony to sit and also more importantly to dry the laundry. We got in early from the Camino and took advantage of the nearby laundry . Bud worked perfectly in the morning to return to the Camino. Had to taxi for mass but the mass is special and should not be missed for the pilgrims.
Amazing village. There is not too many inhabitants and the views are absolutely amazing to stay a day enjoying the river and walking along. There are some restaurants and a nice vegetarian albergue and also you can enjoy a nice route by horse in the village. Plenty of things to do is a very small village that is magical.
I did not stay here. I contracted COVID and called/messages the hotel to see if they could get me a private room as I did not want to stay in a bunk room and infect others. I never heard back from them so I cancelled the stay. I was charged anyway (understood even though there are hundreds of pilgrims who need a room) but more disappointing is they never got back to me. at least I cancelled so another pilgrim could have a bed.
One of the few places to stay in Las Herrerias which is a lovely little village just before the long, hard hike up to La Faba and O Cebreiro. It is modern and clean with relatively large rooms, quite airy and has nice bathrooms/showers. I have stayed there twice and would stay again and would definitely recommend staying here rather than trying to hike up the hill to La Faba in the afternoon.
I don't want to offend people from Las Herrerías - but, this is a very special seudo place. I arrived relatively late in the day - had a very good dinner (ate at the hostal's restaurant) and the breakfast was also very good. It is super important to have a good night - so that you can take the next very hard trip over the mountain pass on the Camino. I can recommend the place.
Very nice private rooms with en suite bathrooms! Loved being able to open the window and hear the stream and cowbells in the back of the property. I had lunch and a drink at the restaurant downstairs and the food was delicious, only wish I could have had breakfast there as well! Great spot to stay on the Camino in Las Herrerias!
The setting was beautiful - the foothills, the cattle grazing, the grounds were immaculate! The hotel was exceptional - very comfortable and lovely decor. The proprietor met me at the door, and was so welcoming. I enjoyed a delicious dinner, and loved every minute of my stay.
An absolute fabulous find on booking.com. Hotel was of a very high standard. Very friendly staff and the best menu of the day so far on the Camino. So glad we stayed here and not in O’Cebreiro which is so very commercialised. A lovely village and very quiet. Just perfect.
This is a lovely hotel and very peaceful. I was not part of the walking fraternity that use this hotel for the Camino de santiago but it was ideal for me to relax and chill out. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
This is a tastefully remodeled and well-run hotel in a delightful village. Maria, the owner, and her mother (Maria as well) are wonderful hosts and cooks.
We really enjoyed our brief stay
Beautiful Albergue before you enter Las Herrerias. Lovely patio area for food and drinks. I was in an attic room which was a good size and had AC. Food and service was excellent
Very nice hotel! With friendly and helpful staff. Hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. And the glass staircase made for a really nice entrance to the upstairs rooms.
Great location with great staff that were very accommodating. The rooms have a rustic feel to them. A very comfortable one night stay in this wonderful hotel.
