An interesting historic town, probably used in winter as a snow sports venue. There are however plenty of local walks and the local bars are really good (Pickaporte especially)
Ideal location midway across Spain if you are travelling right across or indeed heading to /from Portugal
Lovely apartment, very well located, facing a square. Quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxing and getting a great night of sleep before and after exploring the wonderful town of Hervás. Very well decorated with everything you might need for the length of your stay. We had a wonderful holiday and will no doubt to come back and stay at La Casita whenever we go back to Hervás. We felt at home and really enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend it.
This hotel is a gem with a wonderfully tranquil ambience, thanks to the magnificent garden, the terrace with fantastic views of the mountains, and the building itself that feels like a traditional house. The breakfast is also very good. The staff is excellent, so warm and friendly, and they gave me good advice on local hiking trails.
It's a beautiful place, very well taken care, and with lots of cosy details. The jacuzzi even if expensive (25 euros for 2 adults + 2 children) is really nice to relax and recover after a day of travelling. The surroundings are beautiful. The double bed is large and comfortable. Hervas is a wonderful town to visit.
Excellent location, between the more modern part of Hervás and the judería. Large room with a comfortable living area, well-equpped kitchen, raised bedroom area and super nice bathroom. Great personalized attention starting on the morning of our stay, continuing at check-in and lasting the two days of our stay.
The house is in a great location at the edge of the Jewish Quarter. Although not large, it is well equipped and has everything you need. The bathroom is modern with a great shower and the bedroom is spacious and comfortable. Since we were travelling with a dog, having a courtyard was great.
We stayed for one night. Room comfortable and facilities good. Lovely setting. Staff welcoming and friendly. The person on reception spoke good English, which was very helpful for us, and gave us good information. We visited Hervás the next day before leaving - well worth a visit.
Beautiful hotel and room. Breakfast each morning featured delicious local fruits and handmade pastries. Fresh flowers from the garden were placed in our room. The bed was comfortable with good lighting.
