We had an amazing stay, we booked Junior Suite with Mountain View and the room was very spacious, the shower had a good pressure and never ran out of hot water, there is a closet for your clothes and a comfy sofa to chill.
The buffet breakfast was rich every morning with lots of varieties, perfect start of the day before skiing. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who is going to ski and wants to enjoy a cozy village with plenty of restaurants, there is also Mercadona 2min walk and you reach Baqueira within 30min (even with the traffic - without traffic it's really fast, some 12min). The staff is amazing, very polite and professional. We will return next year!

Excellent breakfast, spacious room, very nice staff, but in the room for 4, the access to the atic room is through a ladder and a small hole in the ceiling, quite an exercise to get there.

Garos is a pretty little town in the middle of Val d'Aran, closed to Vielha, the capital where all needed shopping and facilities are available, but far enough (about 5km) to feel the relax and enjoy the air.
It is an ideal point of departure for going to some hiking.
There is a point for recharging electric cars (Iberdrola).

There is a child park near to the school
The buffet breakfast was excellent. We had one meal in the hotel restaurant which was in the form of choices from a set menu. My teenage daughter is lactose intolerant and they made her a meal specially. There was no vegan or even vegetarian option on the menu. The restaurant felt very upmarket but even with a bottle of wine the bill for three of us only came to 85 euros.
The hotel reception had good, free walking maps of the surrounding area. The next village Arties was nice with many restaurants.
Best hotel experience in a long time. Great hotel with nice restaurant in beautiful village. Best of all is the staf of the hotel. They make your stay extremely pleasurable. Customer minded mindset and very helpful in and around the hotel. Going outdoors with your bike you can service and clean your bike. Going hiking they help you with planning a multi day hike.
All in all a wonderful hide out or hub to explore the beautiful val d’Aran or national parc in the surroundings.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our rooms were bigger than expected and meant we all had a room to ourselves which was a nice bonus! The hotel itself is clean and has great facilities although quiet when we were there so not much was open. We had a 3 course meal which was great. The breakfast was the highlight, such a great variation of food available.
Extremely basic, small and poorly decorated room. It was clean though, but it was also very noisy coming from the floor above and the street. resulting in a very uncomfortable night sleep. The hotel was fully occupied and they were very short on staff.
It was disappointing. The fotos are not accurate with the actual property. In my opinion quite misleading.
Lovely breakfast, shame there wasn’t anything open for a mid morning coffee.
No bar but I guess this keeps it nice and peaceful! Sleepy village.
Fabulous Peruvian restaurant next door owned by the hotel.
Pleasant owners but be aware if they are busy you will need to vacate breakfast/dinner table!
Beautifully clean & comfortable
Nice Hotel with big Pool and workout facilities for free. At the breakfast , the cook will prepare the tortilla according to your wishes + excellent local products : cheese, ham, ...
The Village is so nice, traditional Architecture
We have used this hotel several times and will continue to do so.
We especially appreciate the facility of transportation to and from the hotel.
The hotel staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Spacious hotel. Good reception and clean and spacious room. Easy to park. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was very good. Pleasant location in a quaint village.
Lovely little hotel, the family room was perfect for a one night stay before a week on the mountain. The host was so friendly and made us feel very welcome
