Great host with a flexible attitude. Breakfast was very rustic - I liked it! I arrived late, but the host had a sandwich made for me. That was appreciated. Lovely little village, very quiet. Shared bathroom was not a problem.

What a neat hotel! The main building was built in 1678. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and looked out over the valley and forest. The food was delicious! We ate dinner at the hotel as well as breakfast in the morning. The town is small and somewhat remote. On a short path behind the hotel there was a structure that has the original wash stations used by villagers to do laundry. It was also built in 1678. If you are looking for a quiet, country setting, this is a great choice.
Amazing value for a one night stay in the mountain-top village Ezkurra. The hotel is as old as bones but completely homey and comfortable. Outside is a kaleidoscope of nature with a running stream, rolling mountains, forests, wildlife, farms, you name it! The hosts cooked up a barbecue for a delicious dinner to top it off. Well worth the 25 minute detour off the main road.
Great place to stop when touring the area. We were on motorbikes and the hosts arranged to secure the bikes in their garage. Good simple local food and wine in the restaurant. We were looking for a good quality, clean rustic hostel and restaurant and Ezkurra delivered. For sure we will return. Amazing value. Very friendly and helpful family.
The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant across from the hotel was excellent. The sceneries are amazing. We would definitely stay there again
Our stay at Hostal Ezkurra was wonderful! Excellent food, friendly hosts, and lovely rooms. The fish from the grill at was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended.
