Comfy hotel with friendly staff. Although it had been decorated well, some of the details were a little tired - scratched walls, etc - but generally it was nice. The area was ok and it was walkable to old town, but it wasn't my favourite area of Bilbao that I've stayed in.

Also a short walk (Google shows it as longer, but there's a shortcut) from the offsite car hire places. You can also get buses from nearby or Derio, to Bilbao centre, which saves the nerve wracking druving round the city . We have used thus hotel a few times fir its general convenience.
