Good location, near the Camino route. They are taking care about the bar/restaurant down under as well. The lady who is working there is very kind-hearted, i would recommend this place :)
Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

Caldas de Reis is a regular stop-over on the Camino Portuguese. The main square with palm trees is lovely. There are cafes and you can sit there have coffee and enjoy, I only made a one night stop so can't really say much more.

We only stayed in Caldas de Reis as we were walking the Camino Portugese. We saw lots of things that'd been nice to further explore if we'd had a couple of days there....river, historic buildings etc.

it is a very quaint little town but the staff in 2 of the bars we went to were very rude. We left the first without ordering food because we found them so rude. In the second one the waiter was agressive. We did find a cafe beside the bridge with good breakfast and really friendly staff.
Lovely historic property that was originally a bathhouse from 1780. Hotel was located along the river close to the highlights of the city with many restaurant choices. The bathhouse and services were very nice and easy to book even at the last minute. My room was very comfortable, the bathroom was well laid out and the shower was amazing. The hotel was located on the Camino Way so it was a perfect location for me as a pilgrim on the Camino. Staff was vey attentive and helpful.
We choose this hotel because of the pool. We were walking the Camino Portuguese and thought this would be a good place for a rest day. The hotel was a bit further then we would have liked and while clean accommodations and food breakfast the beds were the least comfortable on our pilgrimage. Also Caldas de Reis was very small. We ended up not resting and walking the next day to Padron and taking a cab back and forth to where we stopped at.
The staff were exceptional at this cute hotel in a great location for the Camino trail. Jorge was so helpful and friendly and spoke fluent English having worked in London for 8 years. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Facilities were very comfortable and loved having a private terrace to our room to relax within after a day’s walk. The breakfast was amazing as well. Would highly recommend.
The place is just marvellous! An old beautiful renovated house with all the necessary things in it.
The treasure of this albergue is the owners which are wonderful people! They work not for the money, but for the people; I have recieved so much positive emotions from Jolie and her family :)) Thank you!!!<3
P.S. they give the most incredible stamp ever!
BEST ALBERGUE IN SPAIN
This is a fantastic place in Caldas de Reis, just off the Camino. Certainly when we booked it, it represented really good value for money. The apartment is at the top of the block, which gave us nice views, but the real draw was the fact it was clean, well-looked after and met all our needs.
Hotel Roquino was one of our favourite hotels during the Portuguese Camino. The room were lovely, the bathroom lovely with a great shower and the location was perfect, very central and even had a restaurant attached. Everything was perfect and at a really good price!
This was a spacious apartment room with a lovely view (from the third floor). When you pick up the key from the hotel down the street, the staff members are welcoming and helpful in every way. We were provided with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.
As a pilgrim, this place was truly a retreat for the soul. The flat was super clean and the owner made sure you felt comfortable. She gave us many useful tips, so we would enjoy our stay in Caldas de Reis. We really enjoyed the communication and stay overall!
Unless peregrinos are staying in an albergue, they will find this place to be one of the best bargains in Caldas de Reis. It is a comfortable, roomy, nicely furnished apartment in a really good location, right on the Camino.
1. We liked everything! The place is like a boutique hotel and the owner is very friendly. Everything is spotless and beautiful.
2.The benefits—right on the Camino, shared refrigerator, small communal kitchen with microwave
Basic but very clean room. Super friendly owner who made me a nice sandwich. Next to the church of Caldas de Reis, so very centrally located. Ideal for a pilgrim.
The hotel is very well situated for those who are walking the Camino to Santiago. The plus is the thermal pool onsite which was a blessing after a long walk.
Stunning hotel with gorgeous finishes in a beautiful part of town - amazing staff and fabulous recommendations for breakfast etc - we'll definitely be back !
The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly and had quick response. The break room is well stickeef with coffee and tea. The bed is very comfortable.
