Clean room with all amenities (2 nice bedrooms, new bathroom with washing machine, air condition, modern kitchen, enjoyable veranda). The communication with the manager was perfect, also he gave some tipps for the stay.

Location was good and only 10 min walk to the restaurants and supermarkets. Very clean villa with all the amenities. Very private Swimming pool area and not overlooked even though sharing with another semi detached villa.
The beach was good; ideal for small children. The water is waist high at most for a long way out - plenty of small fish swimming around. As its a cove there is not a lot of space on the beach close to the water and can imagine at busy times it may feel a bit claustrophobic. The walk down from town is very steep. Theres two ways, a long sloping road, or a steep set of steps. I preferred the steps as there were no cars and it was shorted albeit steeper.
Food and drink was decent and reasonably priced albeit nothing special. I wouldnt recommend cala 'n porter for a culinary experience but it was good enough that i was happy with all my meals. Casa Tia Tapas was my favourite overall. Samoa was my favourite of the big restaurants.
The people everywhere were very friendly and spoke excellent english - kudos locals as my spanish is very basic!
The apartment complex we stayed in was exactly what we needed - two bedrooms and a shared living space which allowed us to put our daughter to bed and have some space that wasnt our room.
Everything is pretty close by in the town - supermarkets were good too
Overall - a week is perfect - its a nice place - but I think after a week I'd have got bored and wanted a beach with waves and more sand and just bigger. Ideal for what I wanted for this holiday though which was a cheap easy family break with a two year old. Definitely recommend it.

Cale’n Porter is like a big housing estate.
Cale’n Porter is like a big housing estate. There’s nothing particularly wrong with it. But it lacks the charm and character of other places on the island. Also, the beach had a dreadful sewage smell the afternoon we went. We definitely wouldn’t go back

Nice area, very clean. Quite hilly.
Nice area, very clean. Quite hilly. Hard work for people with walking problems. Hiring a car is best if you want to visit other areas or go on organised trips. Beach in this resort is very difficult to get to if you don't have a car. Only way down is by a steep set of steps and go on forever. Unless you are fit and not worried about heights I wouldn't suggest trying it. Going down is hairy going back up would be a killer.

Great little resort with a fantastic beach.
Great little resort with a fantastic beach. We went at the end of September and most of the restaurants and shops had closed down for the season. We drive around the island to see other resorts and will probably opt for Cala Galdana next time due to easy beach access and more facilities.

The resort of Cala'n Porter is very nice but may not appeal to younger travellers who may want a disco town. There are a few nice places to eat out and a few bars. One of the hotels put on some live entertainment. The beach is the big attraction. It is clean, well looked after and a very nice place to go for a swim.

We went in June before it got too busy, it met our needs in that it was peaceful and relaxing, it is a small town so the nightlife isn't what you would be going for, but the restaurants we ate at were decent and we always enjoyed our meals.
I recommend eating at Club Menorca at least once during your stay, book in advance to get on the terrace as the scenery is amazing and its perfect to watch the sunset, the food is tasty and the staff were lovely.
Really super helpful staff, especially Carol at the front desk and the man whose name escapes me, who was running the bar and restaurant on the top floor (he worked non-stop to ensure everything ran smoothly). Cocktails and food were excellent. Breakfast was a good, regular standard buffet, with the standouts for me being the coffee machine/fresh orange juice and fresh fruit. The hotel had been recently renovated so everything was clean and unmarked.
Exceptionally clean, located a short walk from bars and restaurants so its not too noisy at night. Close to supermarket. Felt very secure and the decor in the main entrance was fresh and stylish. New TV and new air con, bathrooms looked new and all decoration fresh, no signs of wear and tear. It's easily hotel quality with a few adjustments, and can't complain about anything that was there... It was just quite a lot of things weren't there!
The views are amazing from the balcony as well as the restaurant and the cocktail bar. The restaurant setting is really beautiful and the food and drink was a high standard and very generous portions. Rooms are clean and of a nice size. Staff are really friendly and always on hand to help if you need them. The beach is a short 15 minute walk away from the hotel too. We had an excellent time here and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
Beautiful place ,a small and intimate hotel and we loved its charm. Pool was so nice to swim in and the pool area so chilled. The staff here are so helpful and so friendly and tended to our every need. The hotel rooms were very clean and our room was cleaned and maintained throughout our stay. The aircon was great and showers were good too .Would definitely go back to this place if we are to go back to Menorca
Great customer service, clean rooms, amazing value for money. Only 15min from Airport, 10min walking to the beach or supermarket. Nice pool. Kids enjoyed the pizza from the hotel restaurant. Nice well equipped kitchen with a good size fridge/freezer. Very quiet resort, our room was only 10 steps to the pool. No luxuries, but the value for money is amazing.
A truly stunning property in Cala en Porter. We were blown away by the views from both the hotel terrace and our room. King suite was nicely decorated, spacious, clean and comfortable. Alex was very friendly and helpful! It was the perfect location to spend the day at the beach and go to Cova d'en Xoroi at night. We look forward to returning.
The hotel was in the great location and a short walk from the beach. They provided an excellent breakfast spread and would highly recommend alongside a great dinner menu. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful when looking to get advice around the local buses etc.
Great location if you are just going to beach, off season very quiet town and lots of things closed, very residential so not much to do in town and didn't love being alone at any restaurants there. Hotel is great and relaxing, good price, good for solo female traveler.
The staff made this lovely little hotel, so friendly and helpful! Great location perched up on the hill, with easy access to the beach by nearby stairs. Gorgeous pool, clean air conditioned rooms and definitely try the hotel’s restaurant for dinner. Amazing food!
location and pool area of the hotel. The room had a full sized dining table and kitchen with all necessary amenities for an apartment. Beach towels were available. There were lots of restaurants walking distance. They let our group check in earlier.
Stunning hotel, everything is so well maintained and there was so much attention to detail. Lovely breakfast and the pool area is amazing.. huge pool and very comfy beds. It was so peaceful and quiet.
The hotel was quite basic but extremely clean.we enjoyed our stay using the partner hotel siesta mars facilities.pool bar etc.All the staff were exceptionally friendly and couldn't do enough for us
Menorca is incredibly magical, and this was a great home base from which to explore the island. We had plenty of room and it was comfortable and a good location. Quiet and clean.
The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the food of their restaurant is good with great view over the beach. The hotel overall was very clean and nice.
