Great central location, a wonderful quiet oasis with a charming court with a fountain. Very friendly and helpful staff. To be fair, not a lot of facilities like gym… but very pleasant with amazing commnateas.

The city is interesting, particularly in the old quarter around the cathedral and Gaudi building. There are several very good value hotels in the centre of the city and many restaurants which tend to be busy.

Astorga is a lovely town with plenty to see for a weekend stay. Main attraction is the Antonio Gaudi-designed Bishop's Palace (now a museum), a sort of Sleeping Beauty castle designed as a residence for the bishop of the cathedral next door. Secondly, the architecture and buildings all around town -- you can walk for hours and it's even large enough to get lost in, so bring your phone. The cathedral is sadly not very worthwhile -- drab, disorganized, you can go in but you won't stay long. Tip: Almost all shops are closed Sunday, except for the moust touristic, so do your shopping on Saturday.

The old town center was great--an example for the rest of the world! The whole town seemed to come out in the afternoons and evenings to eat, drink, socialize and people watch. It is a model of good urban design fostering community. All pedestrian of course! The people were very friendly to the peregrinos (like me) passing through on their way to Santiago.

Interesting old town with history, character and a great stop on The Camino de Santiago walk which has given a new lease of life to Astorga. The cuisine is another attraction and one hopes the improved economy will continue ... with its abnormally large cathedral and the Gaudi palace, charming town hall, plus the eccentric Paneiro poet family dwelling all add interest and
After finishing Caminos Frances and Norte, my sister and I rented car and returned to Astorga to see the Cathedral and visit our favorite jewelry shop. The Apt El Atico was great. The host was in constant communication and the contactless checkin and access was seamless. The 2 bedroom unit was very comfortable and the location was perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Parking was free, 5 minute walk.
Reception staff very friendly and attentive. BREAKFAST was excellent, very good food and lovely fresh fruit and juices and great tea and coffee. The girl who served us and prepared and gave us our breakfast was very friendly, service with a lovely smile and so good for the hotel.nead our room ,if you so wished, you could help yourself to tea, coffee, juices and light snacks if you felt like it.Many thanks.
This hotel was in a perfect location. Our room was huge and had a lot of character. It was clean and very comfortable. There was a secure off road parking space for our car.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was typical cold Spanish buffet but adequate.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and town to everyone it met all our needs.
The apartment was nicely decorated, lot of natural light, comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. It’s 1 min away from the main square and you can park your car on the private parking of the Hotel in charge of the apartments, same place where keys are picked up. Check in experience was super nice, thanks Jenni
The location was excellent. Close to the Cathedral and Gaudi palace. The front desk person was very helpful as we needed to find some inserts for shoes. There are restaurants and grocery close by. We were walking the Camino de Santiago. Only stayed one night. Astorga is a nice city.
Amazing accommodation and beautiful town. The hostess was very helpful and super friendly. The accommodation was out of the hustle and bustle of the plaza but just around the corner from the plaza. When in Astorga again, I'll definitely book with her again!
Everything!! The bed was VERY comfortable. The space was plentiful and well decorated. The bathroom was equipped with a hairdryer and the breakfast was the MOST AMAZING I’ve had at ANY hotel, hostel, 5 start resort!! Seriously great breakfast!!
Very comfortable place with nice rooms, directly on the Camino route into Astorga. I was disappointed that the dining room was closed the night I was there, so I wasn’t able to sample the food in their restaurant (it looked quite nice.)
The room is big , clean and comfortable💯.
The place is so good that we can see the castle clearly🌈.
The owner is so nice that telling anything in detail🙏.
If I visit Astorga again, I wish I can still book here😍.
We paid $60 euros for laundry that we ended up doing.
The hotel staff said laundry would be done in 2 hours. We went into the room took laundry out and had to hang dry it because the dryer was overloaded.
The receptionist, Nule, was exceptional. She was so pleasant and efficient- best reception we ever had in Spain. Thank you Nule! (Not sure if I have spelled her name correctly)
The location and view were wonderful. The rooms balcony opened up to face the Gaudi palace. Breakfast and coffee was included and served in the hotel restaurant.
