The room was very quiet and warm (it was cold outside) with comfy beds. The bathroom was big with a full-sized bath and plenty of very hot water. The receptionist was very pleasant and accommodating. There is a lift so you don't have to carry your luggage. There is a good amount of parking too. The breakfast was also satisfying, with a good variety of items.

The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful and made sure I had an excellent stay. The hotel was very clean and was in a great location near all sorts of services. Breakfast was simple but freshly made and ideal. The hotel is a beautiful historic building with lots of character. I was there on a cycling trip and the owners were very accommodating of my bicycle, which many hotels are not.

Staff were very accommodating and let us put the bikes in our rooms, which were sufficiently large for this not to be a problem. Although hotel does not have car parking, there is parking space quite close and we temporarily parked in the road to load/unload our bags.
