Beautiful quiet village, located on the Via de Plata Camino.
Beautiful quiet village, located on the Via de Plata Camino. A visit to the local church was worthwhile. Great place to rest a day or two if required or use as a base to tour the area. Merida is 20km away!KaySwitzerland

This was greatly appreciated. The hotel is Roman themed and this atmosphere was achieved very well. Everything was well explained and I got ta chance to enter into the spirit of the hotel. I was walking the Via de la Plata an this was undoubtedly the most enjoyable and welcoming place that I stayed in along the road. I recommend it very highly.KevinIreland

The town of Aljucén is also lovely and a great place to stay when walking the Camino Via de la Plata. The 15th Centuary Church of St. Andrew (also my first name) is also a nice place to say a prayer or to meditate. The church is open for most of the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay.AndrewIreland
