Staff was good, even brought breakfast to our room. Room was clean, somewhat small, but for the price, it's a far better deal than the expensive US based properties.

Las Hortensias is a delightful place to stay in Tababela.
Las Hortensias is a delightful place to stay in Tababela.
There is a small fast food cum basic restaurant just 50 metres down the road.
Also by the footbridge are two well run and more sophisticated restaurants.
One is very rustic, with a wide menu and serves grilled meats like local lamb , sausages and beef which are very tasty.
Views of the surrounding hills are very good and the weather mild and pleasant in early February.

Wonderful, secluded property to relax before or after a long flight. Close to Airport and can arrange pick ups.
Breakfast is included and made to order. Other meals are also available. Grounds are nice with lots of surrounding open spaces and mountains. Rooms are well appointed and bathroom is large. I had a very pleasant, peaceful experience.
We stayed here twice, once for one night before our trip to the Amazon, and then again after the Amazon and before the Galapogas. Its proximity to the airport is perfect for this kind of stop over stay. Large, clean, comfy rooms. Alpacas and a llama roaming around were a nice touch. Cheap, home cooked meals available for dinner. Nice grill a short walk from the hotel fro lunch. Airport transfer available for a fee.
Very comfortable and large room, hot shower with good water pressure. Free taxi service to the airport (not collection) - 5 minutes drive away. Breakfast was delivered to the room at 07:45 - quite basic but the bread roll was tasty. No on-site restaurant but one available 1 minute walk away that serves mainly the hotel guests, burgers/chips/wings/churascos. Staff were friendly and helpful.
They were able to accommodate a late check-in and early check-out. I appreciated that they set up and scheduled a taxi to pick us up early in the morning to go to the airport. The room was adequate for the price and included good amenities. I greatly appreciated that the hotel reception gave us a packed breakfast!! So unexpected but a wonderful touch.
Except for the expected flight pattern noise overhead, my stay could not have been more comfortable at this property. The location is perfect for a short stroll into Tababela, two blocks away. The hotel is surrounded by fields of sunflowers in cultivation.
Transport to and from the airport was convenient and punctual.
Such a fantastic hotel right by the airport. We booked this after a flight and it was incredible to be greeted by friendly staff. The room and facilities were amazing and just what you require when you’re tired and have just come off the flight. It’s effortless and we would recommend to anyone looking for a stop over.
The staff was very nice. The hotel was clean. We got a free ride to the airport, included in the price of the hotel stay. Internet worked well. Breakfast was delivered to our room and consited of scrambled eggs, bananas, juice and coffee.
There is no place in the room to eat, but there are tables outside.
This little hotel is really close to the airport in a nice little village of Yaruqui where we can enjoy a little walk, restaurants, etc The staff is really nice and do everything to help us for transportation and our safety.
It’s really calm and quiet at the lodge.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Elizabeth organised for an airport taxi to come collect me for only $10. The hotel is so peaceful and quiet, room spacious, hot shower and a very comfy bed! Breakfast was made to perfection. Definitely stay here again.
The hotel is about four miles from the airport, but the free shuttle makes it easy to go back and forth to the hotel and airport. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was helpful, and I was very pleased with the restaurant.
Quaint family run hotel very convenient for the airport. Out in the country but a few shops and restaurants about 15-20 min walk away. My bed was super comfy and warm!!! They also offer 24 hour airport transfers.
The hotel is really close to the airport. The free shuttle is a plus. Everything was exceptionally clean, and staff was more than welcoming. They made my stay as easy and comfortable as possible.
This small hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and is good value for the money. Breakfast was good and you can order a meal from the kitchen or order in. Rooms are basic but clean.
Great location near airport. $10 taxi from airport so better to use the hotel shuttle service for $7. Comfortable for a night or two before or after flying and great breakfast on the terrace.
Very comfortable and convenient airport hotel. Shuttle was super easy. Excellent breakfast and the restaurant is good too. Lots of hangout spaces to kill time before a flight.
The hotel is in a great location, close to Quito's airport. The room was very comfortable and wifi worked great. I opted for dinner at the hotel and it was delicious.
