We stayed two nights to visit Flossenburg concentration camp. Public transport to and from the site was regular and comfortable. The site is well maintained, with informative displays. Weiden historic centre is interesting and there are many shops and restaurants catering to all tastes.
the rooms were beautiful, it was a nice size and the bathroom was very clean and had everything we needed. The whole property in genreal was very clean and the staff super friendly. I loved the breakfast buffet. Typical for a german breakfast, it had everything you can imagine. i can definitely recommend the hotel.
The Hotel is nested within the core shopping district with multiple restaurants to choose form right outside the exit. The rooms are comfortable (no AC) and quiet. I worked a night shift and I slept undisturbed by the day staff activity, The staff support is top notch, always upbeat and a pleasure to interact with.
The staff at the Bräuwirt were extremely friendly and competent. I very much enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a great place to spend a few days in Weiden. Additionally, the breakfast was always good, and the restaurant's food and beer were delicious.
Excellent hotel, couldn't fault it. A fabulous location right in the centre of Weiden. We arrived in some disarray on our bicycles and Julia in reception was extremely helpful with bike storage, a quick check-in, and a list of good eating and drinking establishments nearby.
