As a family of 5, we were well accommodated in a family room which was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious & clean. After arriving later in the afternoon, we were greeted by the host, who kindly arranged dinner for us at a local restaurant.
This family-run guest house enjoys a quiet location in Oberrimsingen, in the Black Forest. It offers regional cuisine, free parking, and good access to the A5 motorway.

Reception was fine, no problems. Our room very nice indeed, large , warm and very comfortable. We'd been before and knew how spacious it is. There is a restaurant/pub very close by and that very convivial too. Very good nights sleep and very good breakfast, chatting with the proprietor.
This 4-star hotel enjoys a tranquil location in the Mooswald Forest, 7 km from Freiburg city centre. The hotel is structurally connected to the Keidel Bad.

The hotel had a convenient underground connection to the public Thermal baths and offered check out by 12pm (except for Sunday) so one could visit the baths in the morning before checking out (morning is a quieter time at the baths).

It is close to the German A5 autobahn and thus an excellent place to stay on a a long journey to south of France and Spain. The Guesthouse Lowen Garni is an authentic building going back for a number of years into the past with original buildings and farm equipment. The rooms are large and the courtyard fine for parking.

Oberrimsingen is a nice quiet family based village.
Oberrimsingen is a nice quiet family based village. There aren't many shops (if any.. I only saw one.. a little toy shop and a beauticians). There didn't seem to be a café there or restaurant but the village is surrounded by countryside. Lots of walks and cycle lanes. Nearby towns a short drive away.
Nice location just a short drive from Freiburg. One can do day trips to Freiburg, Basel and neighboring places in France. Wifi was fine. Parking available in the courtyard but also easy to find on the streets. Breakfast was good and just for 5 Euros. The owner is a nice and friendly lady. Oberrimsingen is a quiet little place. Even though our room had windows towards the street, there wasnt much noise to be heard (low traffic and 30 Km/h zone). No extra charges for pets.
This is a nice, small hotel that looks like a traditional inn, with a central yard area for parking. The rooms are modern and very clean and tidy, with good bathrooms. The owners are very helpful and friendly. It's a short drive to Breisach or Freiburg for a range of restaurants and cafés, and it's close to the A5 autobahn so it's easy to reach. We stayed here on the way between Switzerland and Frankfurt, and it's a good stopping-off hotel.
It was a great place. I really enjoyed staying there. The owners of the hotel/Gasthaus were very friendly. I really enjoyed talking with them. They had a very funny dog.
The hotel was pretty clean. I really liked the traditional atmosphere of the building and the restaurant. There were beautiful flowers on each window which added to the beauty of the place.
The breakfast was really delicious especially the home made jam.
After a long jopurney, we slept well. The room ewas warm and clean. The breakfast was good. however, there were no facilities for an evening meal at the hotel , or in the village. we had to travel to Breisach in order to get an evening meal (a 10 minute drive away). There was a petrol station in the village, so we were able to top up the tank before hitting the road again in the morning
We wanted an overnight stop not far from the A5 and the Swiss border. This hotel fitted what we wanted exactly. The rooms were very good. The owners were friendly. We had an enjoyable stay.
Room was very nice size and super clean. Very impressed with the bed which was very comfortable. Nice breakfast at an amazing low price. The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful.
Easy check-in, very clean and spacious room. Big private parking inside the hotel. Good breakfast. The owner spoke a bit of English but it was not a problem.
