Excellent service! Reception staff is exceptionally helpful, genuinely friendly. The first night I came late and the girl in the restaurant was very kind to fix a dinner for me, thou the kitchen was almost closed. I have lost a small ring and the girl at the reception was helping me to look for it and found it ( she spoke perfect Spanish too!).
The gentleman waiter in the restaurant was very professional, despite me not speaking German he was advising me the best dishes. Food was excellent, so I had lunch and dinner there everyday of my stay.

We had one of our best travel experiences ever, while traveling as a family with 2 kids. Partly due to the fact that we really liked this small town & what it has to offer; but in a big way due to this property and it’s management.
We were traveling with a 2 month old baby and the management ensured that we had the right apartment and the right cot for the baby. The kitchen is fully stocked and the apartment was super clean when we reached.
The pool and sauna were very well maintained and clean. The lawns are nice and can be used to relax, and there is also a Spielplatz for kids.
Underground parking is there and can be accessed by using your home key.
To sum it up I would whole heartedly recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy their stay in Upper Bavaria.

Food was good at their restaurant and not expensive.
Food was good at their restaurant and not expensive.
All other hotels were closed and no too much to do in the town either. Pity , it is a small village.
We were cheated because we have not received the room as shown on bookingcom
Personal at reception desk were rude and unpolite. Did no show any curtesy any interest to improve their rude attitude.
The Suites are a 10min walk from Oberaudorf Railway Station. The Town has a good selection of Shops and Restaurants. The Pool is fantastic, and initially it was a massive attraction.
From the Suites you can walk across a footbridge into Austria and attend performances at the Erl Opera Houses
Michaela was so helpful, even taking in a delivery for me.
I cannot fault the suites for design, comfort and the exceptional service I received.
The thing which really convinces me to book again this hotel is the staff. They were super kind and used to prepare whatever we requested. We requested to have earlier check-out and they had no problem with that and didn’t charge extra fees.
The restaurant, rooms and pool were so clean each room had either a view or a way to the beautiful garden. At the end they give the residents a gift from the village which was fantastic.
Very friendly and attentive staff, fantastic buffet breakfast, stunning location (mountains on your doorstep!).
One of the many bonuses of this hotel is that it has its own brewery - great beer and wonderful atmosphere. Would love to go back when they have one of their band nights.
Don't think about it - just book and you won't regret it. Oh, and look out for the alpacas in the garden! :-)
The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful part of Oberaudorf, next to the mountains, ski lift and summer toboggan run (Rodelbahn). Great location to explore the area and very close to the Austrian border. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our family room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet was great - a wide selection of food available.
I have booked on booking.com two rooms, one for 2 adult persons and 2 children, and another one for 2 adults, and I got the price for this 2 rooms and the 6 persons. But the Hotel Ochsenwirt only registered 2 adults with 1 child and another room with 1 adult. There must be no good connection between booking.com and this hotel
Second time I've stayed at this hotel for a sleepover on my way to Austria. It is located very good near the highway and has enough parking spaces. The restaurant inside the Gasthof is excellent. Room was specious and fitted with everything needed for a sleepover.
Fantastic location, friendly welcome, friendly and helpful staff, very clean and pleasant room, good breakfast and dinner (optional), beautiful winter garden and terrace with view on the Wilder Kaiser mountain, good feelings.
Very friendly welcome by the lady. Hotel is in the middle of Oberaudorf and has easy access to restaurants, Chair lift and train station. Plus place offers good breakfast.
