Newly built in 2018, the Starnbergsee Hideaway is located on the shores of Lake Starnberg in Bavaria. The famous Osterseen nature reserve can easily be reached on foot or by bike from the property.

Very pleasant stay, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. The room and bathroom are very clean. Mini cooler is available in the room but bring your own water and/or refreshments. Vending machine is located in the lobby.

Offering a quiet location and free use of the sauna, Hotel am See is located directly next to Starnberger See Lake. Each room comes with a flat-screen TV and fa seating area.

I can only judge the food service from the breakfasts that they served in a different room while I was there because the restaurant was closed for refurbishment, but the breakfasts were great. I saw the renovated restaurant on my last morning and it was wonderfully done. The room was spotless and well appointed. A slightly rustic style but it had everything one would need. It would be great for business (as in my case) or vacation. The location was very pretty with a good Spanish style and a couple of Bavarian restaurants close by.

This hotel is located in the midst of a gorgeous landscape and offers wonderful views of a nearby lake.
