Waterfront area is hyped as a great place to hang out but wasn't really much. The Altstadt is unremarkable. Walked down the main pedestrian street in the evening and felt that it was now just a place for people to ride scooters and hang out. Not very pleasant. Mullheim is mostly a commuters town. It does not offer much by itself. Our primary reason to stay here was to save money but it turned out it wasn't exactly cheap to say the least. You also need to realise that on Sundays almost everything is closed.

It was relatively clean (no hair and stuff) but honestly the carpet and tiles in the bathroom are extremely dated and there are handprints, scratches, dirt very clear on the walls. The sheets were clean, so that is definitely a positive. However, 130 euro a night is a super inflated price for what it is. The area is also a bit sketchy. The restaurant right next to the place is great, and there's a grocery store nearby, but it's not the best place to walk around. All in all, pretty meh.
