It was a family room that had 5 beds which was ideal for 4 guys. Room was large/spacious enough to cope with our luggage etc. We had booked it around 3 hours earlier. Breakfast was excellent as was the portion size. We failed to find a restaurant that was open on the Monday evening in the village or surrounding area. Mind you it was mid November. However we discovered a cupboard that had drinks and snacks that were readily available and was done on a trust basis. We made good use of that and squared up in the morning. Very trusting of the proprietors. Excellent idea. Very good English was spoken which made communication very easy.

It's a stylish, modern hotel, with everything clean and in mint condition. The location, across from to the train station 'Eichstätt Stadt', is very convenient, and there is no noise from the trains as they're small commuter trains and they don't pass the hotel directly. The historic city centre is only a 5 to 10 minute walk away. It was quiet and peaceful too, with a good breakfast and pleasant, comfortable bar with a good selection of drinks.

I travelled on business. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel location is excellent as well. Close to the city centre. Another positive aspect is significant public parking close to the hotel (24h - all the time for free).
