Everything was good except that if you stay in the large room, one part of the room has a slanted wall and you could hit your head if you sleep on the bed adjacent to it. We also had a room close to the road and traffic noise could be an issue if one is sensitive to noise. The property is well managed and the staff went out of their way to help guests with questions and special needs. The next time I stay at Arcus I would request for a room away from the road with farm view.
Andante Hotel Erding offers spacious rooms, good rail connections as well as underground parking for a surcharge. It is a 5-minute drive from Erding town centre and the Erding thermal baths.

Excellent value. Appreciated the little kitchenette area and plenty of space.
It was an easy walk into the town centre with plenty of shops and restaurants.

Just 2 minutes away from S-Bahn station, you can see this hotel from the station. Rates are super friendly as compared to other hotels in Munich especially Marineplatz or central station. Amidst nature, spacious rooms. I was with my family and we liked this property.

Small town on outskirts of Munich.
Small town on outskirts of Munich. Has a selection of bars, pubs and restaurants, plus banks with ATM and a few shops in the centre. My favourite for dinner was Wirtshaus im Oberbräu on the corner of Marktplatz. A peaceful place for those who don't want to stay in the noisy city but to have easy access during the day. The railway station is the last stop in zone 2 (and the first in zone 3) so a day ticket into the city (München XXL includes trams, buses and U-Bahn) is no dearer than from more expensive and more built up places closer to the centre. Also possible to reach from airport by bus 512 to Erding and then train (buy a 2 zone ticket) and cheaper than places further into the city. But probably not an actual destination in it's own right.

Small town with a soul.
Small town with a soul. My recommendations: Hasi is a great place to start the day - coffee, cakes, sandwiches, something to read. On the other hand, Schweiger brewery is the place to have a dinner and a few beers. It's not far from Munchen.
Looking at the other hotels in Munich which are too costly and hardly any value for money especially looking at the time you actually spend in hotel, this hotel was amazing and a value for money not only because the rates were friendly but the rooms were very spacious (we had the big room), the surroundings were lively and beautiful amidst nature yet just 2 minutes away from the Markt Schwabn S-bahn station which was really a plus point as this is just 25 to 30 min away from central station. Staff was very friendly.
This hotel is all you need when you are traveling or staying at München for a few days. It's warm, quiet. Very clean. The rooms are cosy and neat. The beds are good. The shower is like a warm jet stream and the tab water is warm within a second. The desk employee is hospitable. You can park around the hotel. Everything is just very comfortable.
The private parking lot for the hotel is small but fit our giant American van with no problem. The staff were friendly and super helpful, and there is a park within 5 minutes of walking for the littles.
A fabulous hotel, clean and spacious rooms, a fantastic breakfast and lovely staff, an ideal hotel for travelling into Munich, we can’t wait to come back!
