Hotel-Restaurant Im Heisterholz, hotel in Hamm

This hotel restaurant lies in peaceful countryside, outside the town of Altenkirchen. It offers cosy rooms with free internet, a spa area and free on-site parking.

If you like the quiet, this place is off any main road and so peaceful. The owner was so helpful and friendly. I had dinner there which was delicious. I was able to store my motorbike in the garage. Breakfast selection was great. The room was very big with ensuite shower and a balcony. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room. I had a lovely walk after dinner, straight onto a forest path from hotel.

The hotel is located in the center of Hamm (Sieg) in the house where Friedrich Raiffeisen, initiator of co-operative banking. The house is well preserved, with many original details. This includes the rooms, except the beds and the bathroom. Those are up to date.
