The hotel is in a fantastic location. It is in very close proximity of Eifel National Park. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing and there is a very good restaurant approximately 100-200 meters away. Satellite TV was a bonus because America movies/shows can be watched in the original English version. I requested a frig in my room and it was provided.

Nice people running the place, had some good beers and where very welcoming. the rooms where good for the price, the area is nice and quite and the town and the scenery around the hotel where amazing. I enjoyed the private parking for our motorcycles. Amazing breakfast and I love that it wasn't a buffet so you could just sit down and eat.

There are so many things to do and so many places to visit in this part of the Eifel. Places like Bad Muenstereifel are very impressive. But also Kommern Open Air Museum, or Hellenthal Animal Park.
Also Cologne and Aachen, even the Moselle are easily visited in a day.
Gemuend itself is big enough to have a Netto Supermarket (more in neighbouring town 6 km away), and a number of decent cafes and restaurants and a few other shops and facilities.
