We ate both nights in the Gasthof Hirschen restaurant, enjoying local dishes in a traditional and quiet setting. We used the secure bike storage area. We hadn’t realized that for our first two cycling days we chose a hotel high above the river!

The hotel is located near the border with Switzerland and everything is within reach. The room itself was large and clean. My plan was to leave early in the morning to continue my journey, but I found it hard to do so. Slept very well and hopefully will return in tbe near future.

We arrived after official Check-in hours, but we still was able to call, and have someone to let us in. P.S. it is less than 10 minutes await from Switzerland, where you can cross a German/Switzerland border on foot back and forth via an old beautiful wooden bridge.

Very comfortable room, great bathroom, good breakfast. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in Hirschen.
