They are always happy to help with a smile and they even gave our little son a small children's book at checkout, farm themed (very nice touch). There is a small very well kept playing ground. The breakfast buffet has plenty to choose from and is very tasty. You're not right at Bodensee but it's a short drive to Friedrichshafen and Lindau and Meersburg are also very close. So you have a nice quiet area very close to the busier parts of the lake.
