We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks outside overlooking the town square before moving into the restaurant for an enjoyable meal with excellent service from the host. The hotel has secure parking which meant we felt save leaving most of are things in the car.

Restaurant was very good and popular. Breakfast simple, functional and cheap for EUR 5. Rooms quiet, comfortable, and functional, as long as it is just for sleeping, shower and toilet. Secured, closed garage for bicycles.

We booked a twin room as it was an all male party, but when we arrived we had a double bed with twin mattress's, which was not ideal. The owner of the hotel moved us to a suite. Food in the restaurant was the best meal we had on our 10 day tour around Germany and Holland

The food is excellent and you can eat outside and view the world go by. It is used by the locals which is a very good sign. The staff are polite and the service quick. The proprieter speaks perfect English.

The owner is a real gentleman who knows a lot about the history of his town and is the seventh generation of his family to run a hotel on this site. The room was more than adequate. A mini bar would be nice but it isn't a deal breaker.
