We absolutely loved Villa Vie! The room was large and provided comfortable amenities (bed, chaise lounge). Our room had a castle/river view which was breathtaking! They have tons of wine to take to your room or share on the patio that overlooks the river / castle.

I was sceptic for the buffet dinner. But turned out that quality was very good. There was roasted venison, stuffed turkey, some fish and a variety of salads, desserts etc. All quite tasty and nicely presented.
As for the room: I am not sure why the king size bed had to be two joined beds. So there was a 'gap' in the middle. Otherwise the room was excellent, clean with nice furniture. Bathroom was also clean, no smells, everything very good.
We had a room with river view, which is spectacular: the castle, the city and at night everything was illuminated.
The spa facilities were also very nice. There were not many people there, which made the whole experience quite 'personal'.
Located on the Moselle River Promenade, this 3-star Superior hotel in Cochem offers rich buffet breakfasts and a terrace with great views.

Breakfast buffet is very good. Our room faced the river and was above restaurant and square so a little loud. With no AC we had to have the window/door open.
This small hotel in the heart of Cochems Old Town features wonderful views of the Reichsburg castle and the Moselle river. The Hotel La Baia welcomes you to its modern, generously equipped rooms.

Hotel is no nonsense, with all basic comfort.
Situated direct on the main promenade.
The have a good (Italian) restaurant, small choice on the card but very good food !
We were very disappointed in the breakfast, here the hotel must do some improvements.
At 9h28 (breakfast till 10h) there was almost no more food. They serve no warm food, no sausages, no warm eggs,, EVEN NO CROISSANT? and for the rest very little choice. for which we paid 15 euro per person....probably the worst German breakfast hat we have ever had.
After breakfast we (and other visitors) went to the local bakery to get some croissants :-)
Located in Senheim, 7.7 miles from Cochem Castle, Hotel Weingut Schützen has accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

A lovely town by the side of Mosel river...with nice winegut guesthouses and beautiful trekking trails. Each winegut owner has own winery and arrange for trekking rides. The hospitality is impeccable. I loved the mountain view from the room and also enjoyed walk by the river side.

The river valley is beautiful, and the hotel is close to the very picturesque village of Beilstein. There is a ferry across the river but beware, it doesn't run in the evening and everything seems to close pretty early.

This is a small Village just across the river. you can walk along the river or even cross to the other side to visit the ruins. Close to other villages and easy to access if you bring a bike, perfect road and safe conditions to ride or run like me. Friendly and cozy people everywhere, looks everyone knows you. worst spend time walking thru the vineyards the surroundings are amazing.

Great for a couple of days, we were there for four.
Great for a couple of days, we were there for four. Plenty of places to visit but you needed to travel to get there. Better to move around the area a bit to get the best out of the area. Recommend for cyclists and those that love long walks.
