A lovely town by the side of Mosel river...with nice winegut...
A lovely town by the side of Mosel river...with nice winegut guesthouses and beautiful trekking trails. Each winegut owner has own winery and arrange for trekking rides. This is a small Village just across the river. you can walk along the river or even cross to the other side to visit the ruins. Close to other villages and easy to access if you bring a bike, perfect road and safe conditions to ride or run like me. Friendly and cozy people everywhere, looks everyone knows you. worst spend time walking thru the vineyards the surroundings are amazing.

Great for a couple of days, we were there for four. Plenty of places to visit but you needed to travel to get there. Better to move around the area a bit to get the best out of the area. Recommend for cyclists and those that love long walks.
