My stay in the area was our of necessity, but as I had to...
My stay in the area was our of necessity, but as I had to stay a night a had a brief look around the area. There is plenty of beautiful hiking to be done and Drolshagen is very close to the Biggesee which is also beautiful. The town has a nice small city centre with an excellent ice cream cafe that has a large "patio" seating area directly on the main town square.

It was conveniently located and had enough (free) parking spaces, rooms are spotlessly clean and the hosts were the best you can wish for: super friendly and warmhearted people who run this place perfectly. You'll feel at home immediately and it's truly a home away from home. Also the breakfast was good and the food in the restaurant is delicious! I'll definitely visit here again when i'm in Sauerland and absolutely recommend this place.IvoNetherlands

The flat was spotless clean and well equipped. I didn't miss anything. The bed is comfortable, the TV has many channels and Netflix. The bathroom is big, the kitchen as well. There is a table outside - there I had a great breakfast surrounded by flowers. The village is very close to Olpe and Drolshagen, easy to find things to do while there.Elena-DenisaRomania

The hotel is pleasant, clean and the room spacious, maybe a little bit noisy but…. Nobody’s perfect!! Breakfast is way more than satisfactory, in quantity and quality. Attention, the restaurant is open only on weekends, but in front of the hotel, the steak house will satisfy even the more exigent clients
