Very convenient. Close to bus stops and tourist office and stop for boat trips. It was great to get the ticket for free travel on the buses and trains, much appreciated as it saved us looking for the right money. Etc .

Great location for a hike to Burg Eltz. The owner was really, really helpful and communicated well (in English as I’m not German) before the stay.
Set amid the hiking trails of the Mühltal valley, this informal hotel in Boppard is just one km from the town’s pedestrian area, railway station and Rhine boat piers.

Hotel that seems to be run by several young staff. Good breakfast. Very attentive staff - we wanted to watch the rugby world cup game on tv, but couldn't get it in our room, but the young girl found it on the tv in the breakfast room and we wanted it there with a couple of beers. Probably about a 20 min. walk into the town - good for walking off the drink/food. Would easily stay there again.
This hotel lies in natural forest countryside, 2 km from Eltz Castle and the town of Moselkern. The Ringelsteiner Mühle offers free Wi-Fi, and bicycles are available to rent.

It was a nice surprise to arrive in the hotel at 22.30h and found the staff still ready to prepare a freshly baked pizza. Very tasty pizza, friendly staff and clean and comfortable room. I definitely will come back when I need a hotel in that neighbourhood. Thanks. Grtz Dirk
Alken is a lovely quiet village next to the River Mosel.
Alken is a lovely quiet village next to the River Mosel. Boat trips leave from the centre of the village. There is a good bus service with two stops in the village. There is a petrol station2 km away and a supermarket on the edge of the village.
Absolutely everything. The location next to the River Mosel was excellent with car parking available next to the hotel. The apartment was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to the apartment each morning. The owners Philip and Corina were extremely friendly as were their staff. Boat trips to Cochem and Koblenz etc. were available from nearby. There was also a good bus service with a bus stop very close to the hotel.
A great location to explore this part of the Mosel. The hotel room was comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast and lovely cakes in the afternoon. Enjoyed walking from the hotel through the vineyards to the Burg Thurant. Alken village also very interesting. Good base to visit Burg Eltz a fairy tale castle.
Nice owner and staff.
Parking space un the garage (needed because there is no outside parking space direct at the hotel)
Hotel and rooms are simple but adequate, had a nice stay.
