The only bad factor was the entrance way from the car park. We thought that we had made a bd choice. However, once inside it was good. The evening meal was very good, good selection and reasonable. The breakfast buffet was very good.

The atmosphere of the hotel was very calm and relaxed. There were excellent facilities and everywhere was very clean. The staff are so helpful and professional. The evening meals were delicious and interesting and there was a good selection of items at breakfast and vespers. It was nice to be able to taste the wines too. One of our party tried a wine wrap in the spa and it was very nice but remember to book in advance. The pool was small but perfect!

The staff was very warm and helpful and proved very attentive to our requests. The location is very nice and the interior is indeed worthy of a castle. The dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious and the prices were more then reasonable.

Upgraded to really fancy rooms. Beautiful castle, gardens and setting. Hotel staff helpful changing room before our stay to a lower floor. All staff friendly and helpful. Beer was good too.
