Surprisingly interesting town with a beautiful downtown, quite a few interesting sites (good quality museums and art galleries, magnificent castle). Absolutely charming and welcoming people. This town is worth a detour.

Padubice has good public transportation and a lovely old town. The tourist information center helped me by email when I asked about renting a car locally. In the end I rented from Prague but they were very nice and responsive to queries. They have online information such as a self guided tour tips for what to do on Mondays when museums are closed. The castle has an interesting tour and the East Bohemian Museum. There are plenty of interesting places to go to on day trips from Pardubice. I very much enjoyed interacting with locals and getting away from crowds of tourists. Pardubice has a vegetarian restaurant with vegan options.

Nice small city, people are nice, local restaurants and cafes serve good food and good service. The old town square is nice with some good restaurants around it. The supermarkets are well-stocked and you can walk to most places around the old town. There are some lovely cafes that serve excellent coffee and cakes (Mlsna kava, Cafe Bajer, U Maxe etc) at reasonable prices.

There are less places to visit, monuments to see, than I hoped for. The brewery could not been visited, altough (for me) the epidemy already does not explain it. The castle and the main square are really worth seeing, catering (restaurants) were fine.

Wonderful cosy city, especially the pedestrian zone and the river area.
All the restaurants we visited were far above brilliant.
A gastronomy paradise!
We especially recommend "Café Bajer Ve dvoře", Vienna style café with picturesque decorations. The prices are very reasonable and I think I never had a better hot chocolate.
The room was quite large, comfortable bathroom. Nice staff. They happily fulfilled my extraordinary special request for the stay. Good breakfast included in the price. Price was overall reasonable. The hotel has been around for a while. Even though it has been a while since the interior was renovated, it's very clean and seems well taken care of. If you need to quickly find a place to stay when in a hurry with your travels, this is it. It most of the basics required for a comfortable stay.
-Great value for money the room was much larger than anticipated
- All the facilities you need - inc full-length mirror which is actually hard to come by!!
- Lovely staff - didn’t speak much English but we were able to communicate fine. Were very flexible with check-out/check-In arrangements
- Good location in Pardubice - close to places to eat and drink and there’s a handy shop just outside for emergency amenities
-15-20 minute walk from train and bus station
This cozy apartment was a wonderful way to take a break in the small town of Pardubice. The staff is extremely pleasant and offers help at every opportunity. The room we stayed in was comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast was great and consistent. The location can't be beat as it's on a quiet street within a couple minutes of the lively old town district.
New hotel nicely located in the downtown, lose to bar, restaurants and most interesting touristic sites. The rooms are big and comfortable and so are the bathrooms. Personal very kind and welcoming. Generous breakfast. I particularly appreciated the very clean place (both the hotel and the room/bathroom) and the good quality of the fixtures.
We liked the location, the appartment is just ten minutes walk away from the downtown of Pardubice. We particularly liked the garden where we could comfortably sit and have a breakfast. We also liked the spaciousness of the appartment. We also liked very much that during the hot weather, the place had a really pleasant temperature.
Comfortable room and nice staff but the price is very expensive! I travel all over the Czech Republic and it is the most expensive I have paid in the meantime. The place is cheap compared to others in the city, but expensive compared to any other city. There is a strong smell of cigarettes.
Good localization, beds were comfortable, parking was cheap (40czk/day). Don't worry about noises from trains, it was quiet all the time during our stay (especially at night) even though, hotel is situated close to the train station. Breakfasts were tasty.
We use to go to Pardubice once a year and, if they have vacancy, we always stay with them. The staff is very friendly and beside accomodation they operate a restaurant serving tasty dishes and the best Pilzener in the town.
+ rooms are clean and spacious
+ breakfast is really good - the best I have had in any hotel in the Pardubice region (this is the only real point that is standing out for this hotel)
+ staff is reasonably friendly
The location was very good for my meeting at the University of Pardubice - easy walking distance. I had dinner in the restaurant one evening and it was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
This hotel is truly charming and quiet! Excellent staff, breakfast, and rooms. The breakfasts, dinners, and wine selection are exceptional. I will visit Pardubice again and this will be the place to stay.
+ Very good breakfast by Czech standards (and probably the most varied breakfast anywhere in the Pardubice area)
+ Spacious, clean rooms
+ Big parking area with free parking
+ WiFi was working fine
Good location in a walking distance to the city center, spacious and clean rooms with a lot of amenities, very friendly hotel manager, good and stable wifi, comfortable beds
