Hotel Bouček is our favorite place to stop for a night near the border. The location is in the heart of a very nice, small, old town Kromeriž. there is a big central square, where you can park your car, and here are several long working, nice places to eat.
If you want to stay in Hotel Bouček you should book the rooms in advance, because there are very few rooms and a very good price-quality ratio.

A small, but beautiful city, certainly worth visiting.
A small, but beautiful city, certainly worth visiting. I recommend the palace with its gallery of XVI/XVII paintings and the gardens (about a kilometre from the palace). The city is well-prepared for tourists and in our hotel we found useful leaflets with a detailed plan. You get everywhere on foot, so forget about your car and parking problems. When you`re tired, go to Bajda swimming pools where you pay 2 euros (50 Czech crowns) for the whole day and after 4 o`clock only slightly more than 1 euro.
For those who enjoy fin de siecle and beer - I suggest a visit in Plzneńska pivnice, 1 Maje Street. Unforgettable!

Kroměříž might not be a tourist destination with dozens of attractions, but you'll be making yourself a favor by visiting. It's a beautiful, quiet historical city with magnificent gardens and quaint narrow streets. Two days is perfectly fine for a comprehensive visit, which is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace instead of a mad tourist dash. Do use the train (or bus) to get in and out, this is not a car city, nor is there an actual need.

I was there for one night.
I was there for one night. I think I could've stayed longer and gone to the gardens. And we were pressed for time. The tour to walk around the garden take two hours to complete. So put some time aside to do this activity.

This is a small compact town that has something to offer for most people. We went principally to visit the Park Kvetna Zahrada and their displays of camelia's. Which is a highlight at this time of year. The town museum is an amazing location with five sections displaying many wonderful and interesting things. The artwork by the artist Max Svabinsky is truly memorable.
A number of historical locations are shut during the winter months such as the UNESCO Archbishops Palace. We had an excellent lunch in the restuarant Radnicni Sklipek which is just off the main suare. Excellent food at a very reasonable price

One of the most beautiful paintings (and one of his latest) by the Italian Renaissance Master Tiziano Vecellio - "The Flaying of Marsyas" (1570-76) - is housed in the museum of the Archbishop's Palace. Only that makes the trip to Kroměříž worth while.
We've spent an enjoyable summer weekend here and I would absolutely recommend the place to anyone hoping to have a comfortable, centrally-located place to stay in Kroměříž. The room was spacious, clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly and the rooftop terrace is a great amenity for a warm summer evening. Breakfast selection is quite good, even later in the morning, and the whole experience was completely seamless.
The hotel has a great location in the city centre. If you pay extra you get a room with a view of the square. The breakfast was good (scrambled or poached eggs, bacon, sausages, salmon, yogurt, fruit, cheesecake, vegetables, etc.). Staff was polite and helpful. If you are not very fussy this is a great hotel for you. The receptionist speaks good English.
Best place we stayed in a 3 week tour through Saxony and Czech Republic. The woman in reception was the best service person we saw in any hotel thru this trip (Thankyou). Breakfast was perfect and they took care of all with pool clothing for us and for our little daughter. A great level of service and a new and well decorated hotel !
Nice pension in the centre of Kromeriz, quiet room with toilette and shower, tasty breakfast. in case of late check-in the keys are provided via outdoor safe with PIN code sent via mobile phone. Nice feature for those coming late.
Overall, the whole stay was great. The hotel was clean, the room and bed were very comfortable. A historical building with a modern twist. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was fine - a wide range to choose from.
We like to stay at historical places and buildings. This hotel in the centre of Kroměříž met our expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful - thank you, and thanks to the owner too for accepting our specific needs.
This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at during our 3 week vacation. Wonderful staff, clean, updated rooms and the breakfast was fantastic.
The bed was comfortable, towels were soft and the room was huge.
Great place with amazing terrace, cery close to all activities, parking is available for thr fee. Spacious room. Hotel interior is very pleasant, room interior is a bit old.
