We stayed during the Off Season (October) to visit Castle Hluboká so the Restaurant was closed and there were only a few guests staying at Hotel Milan Vopicka. Location to visit the Castle is great. 10 minute walk into the old town and another 15 to get up to the castle. Clean Budget Accommodations if you are just there for the castle or playing golf or tennis. Very much appreciated that someone was there to check us in and check us out in the morning.

I enjoyed the spa very much, especially in the morning as it was almost empty! The pool is a great size. The rooms were comfy, the food was excellent. I enjoyed spending a relaxing birthday at Hotel Diamant and thank the staff for their thoughtful gift!

Situated in the centre of the village. Very clean, with lots of amenities….cushions and blanket for chairs outside, a fan, washing rack, umbrellas in case it rained, good Wi-Fi, well equipped kitchen. The host, Tatiana was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Quiet, except for the bells on Sunday!

Beautiful castle, within easy walking distance of the centre of the town. Good restaurants, although not a lot of variety of choice. The train station is a long way from the town, approx. 45 minutes walk. Highly recommended for a couple of days visit, especially in summer when the outdoor attractions are available.

The castle is magnificent. Kept in wonderful condition.
The castle is magnificent. Kept in wonderful condition. They could arrange more guided tours in English, though. You are not allowed to wander around by yourself and most of the guided tours are in Czech only (although written information is provided).

Nice trip for weekend without car or for single day with car...
Nice trip for weekend without car or for single day with car. Castle is quite big but entrance is only with guided tour. Tours are quite expensive, but not too long - each takes around 1 hour (or you need to pay for another ones). Tour is quite interesting though. Without tour it will take 30 min to review castle exterior + an hour to walk around a park

Do not be afraid to book a room outside the Hluboka nad Vltavou village, there are plenty of country houses offering B&B at half the price and within a 30-45 min walking distance of the city.

Exceptionally well furnished and spacious room. The bathroom was equipped with a deep, comfortable bath which was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast was varied and the check in, check out times were generous. The hotel is located amongst good restaurants and is a short walk to the beautiful castle. The town is a popular tourist destination, but is highly recommended for a night or two. Wi-Fi was excellent.
A nice building in a great location for this attractive town. Three restaurants on site, and the one we chose had a good menu and the food was good and value for money. Rooms were fine and there's a lift to the upper floors. And also, although not actually to do with the hotel, there's a great artisanal beer pub less than two minutes walk away!
This hotel is not a touristy accomodation for visiting Hluboka, it is for people who came to play sports at the grounds of the hotel, eventually at the golf course which is located across the road. My room was bigger and had fridge but it was pretty noisy since located above the restaurant. Very nice staff.
Location was perfect - very close to Hluboka castle and to a golf course, also very close to nice coffeeshops.
The host waited for us with the keys even though we didn't make it till official check-in time. Kitchenette was nicely equipped.
The breakfast is simple but great. Recommend for someone who is looking to stay just besides Hluboka. This is the best hotel to stay as it's just literally besides it.
Down the hill, there are plenty options for bar too.
It's a small, fully equipped house - including the kitchen. You can park two cars there no problem. It even comes with a cozy terrace with a view on the Hluboka castle. The neighborhood is very quiet and pleasant.
Really nice atmosphere, the medieval-like basement was a surprise. We had the pleasure of taking a drink there while a local band played country Czech music live. Fantastic!
Also very close to Hluboká Castle
very testy and good quality breakfast. the hotel is one of the cleanest hotel I have lived in. Everything looked fresh, smelled clean (not chemicals) and it was a pleasure to spend my time in the hotel.
Everything was great. Even more than we expected! It could not be better. Nice stuff, nice atmosphere! Very good hotel! Breakfast was amazing. Looking forward to visit this place and this hotel again!!
Nice and clean studio recently renovated with fully equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. Safe public parking in a front of the apartment. Polite owner that provides a welcome cake. Excellent WiFi.
