Nice place with an awesome view. Employees were friendly. No a/c but it was cool enough at night to be comfortable. It was a little pricey but so is everything else in Costa Rica this time of year.

The 24hr parking lot security. They take your car plate# to make sure all the cars in their lot belong there. At a certain hour in the evening, they close and lock the gate. But they have a security guard there all night who will let people in and out, and patrols the grounds all night. I know because I saw him at 2:00am with a flashlight making sure everything was secure.

I booked last minute because I missed the bus to La Fortuna. I woke up with stunning views of the hotel and beautiful surroundings. The room is very clean with AC and fridge, coffee machine and table, it has hot water!!! Love everything, regret that I was unable to stay longer. Will come back and highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet place to enjoy the nature

We only stayed in this area for 2 nights and I wish we had made it our home base to explore many of the tourist attractions in the area. The roads in this area were in very good shape so it was easier to get around. There were many different restaurants that served different meals than we saw in the southern part of Costa Rica. The temperature in this location was much less hot and humid so more comfortable for us Northerners from the US.
