pool and recreation facilities quite good, in winter the spacious pool area is obviously difficult to heat to a really comfy level, but the water temperature was good. breakfast and dinner offers a good variety, quality and choice of western foods not on international chain hotel level especially on western choices.

I really liked Begonia Flowers. Set within Tongli Old Town, tucked away down a little lane, it’s in a great location. It’s simple, slightly quirky and very comfortable with rooms decked out in a subtle way with little fairy lights. We had a lovely big comfortable bed, with a electric blanket, which could come in handy on colder days. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is insanely beautiful especially at night, not too close to main tourist place but not too far. They upgraded us to a suite for 3 nights stay during a busy period 🙏🏻 the staffs were beyond helpful, especially the front man Ding Wei Sing ( I think) very friendly and always there to help. Free access to the Panmen and it was the highlight of our trip and not busy at all.

The common areas of the hotel are impressive, and we appreciated a lot the amazing breakfast, the lobby bar and the sophisticated dining options. Our rooms had access to the lounge on 7th floor and that was a nice plus for business meetings and a relaxing tea or drink after a busy day. The room was nice, very clean and comfortable. We also appreciated very much the possibility to walk on the lake banks, and the peaceful location. The staff was extremely kind and helful, and always very professional.
