There are a lot of hiking routes from Tegna or from places...
There are a lot of hiking routes from Tegna or from places which can be reached easily by bus or train within 30 minutes from Tegna. I do not like to stay in cities when I go for hiking. Tegna is a nice peacefull little place. If you miss a busier city you can get from Tegna to Locarno in less then 20 minutes by train.ÁÁgnes56Hungary - 10Scored 10
It was an interesting village with some lovely old houses...
It was an interesting village with some lovely old houses and a beautiful church tower. Plus of course the river. The Ticino Pass was a real bonus and the Cento Valli is just so spectacular. Well worth a trip on the train!

The location was recently redone and looks amazing! The personnel was outstanding! We haven’t received that care even in the 5 star hotels. The restaurant is beyond all expectations! The hotel is at Tegna Railway Station one of the stops of the Centovalli Railway. I travel by public transport and it was a great advantage for me. Bus stations are close too. It has great views and everything is where it should be. The breackfast is very nice, with very good products. The best are the owners, very attentive and irradiating good vibes.
