La Catogne was a short drive away from the La Chable list, which is very convenient. The hotel rooms are simple but comfortable. The staff is very nice. The restaurant was a winner. We had originally only planned to eat there our first night but the food and service were excellent, so we ate their both nights. It is a bit off the beaten path, but made a great home base for Verbier skiing.

The room was in decent size with basic facilities. It was clean and well arranged. The restaurant is on the ground floor and is open to the public which makes the guests mingle with the locals which we found very exciting.
