If you were to close your eyes and imagine what an old time...
If you were to close your eyes and imagine what an old time fishing village in NewFoundland would look like it would be Trinity
It is a walkable charming place with lots of great views and an church right out of a movie.
We took one of the Whale Watchinig Zodiac tours,, great fun.
My only caveat is that getting into Trinity is not easy and there are only a few resturants to eat at and no other places to eat that are close. We ended up driving 40 minutes up a fog filled highway to get something to eat.
Would I reccomend Trinity absolutely perhaps the second best most charming village we experienced on our trip

Trinity was a very charming and historic town.
Trinity was a very charming and historic town. There are activities: whale watching, theater, dining, historic sites and tours, and hiking. We stayed in the center of town, and we could walk everywhere - which I'd recommend. We stayed in a suite with a kitchen which was perfect for us.

We weren't there long enough to walk through the town to see the historic sites and get a real feel for what was there
We went to the Rising Tide Theatre and saw a play
We ate at the Docks restaurant, food was very good
The weather was cold, windy and rainy and we were only in Trinity from 4pm Sat until 10AM Sunday
I would want to be there a full 1.5 days to really see the sites

A lovely small historical town.
A lovely small historical town. Staying in town you can feel like a local and walk to everything. Good restaurants, theatre, museums, small shops and expeditions (boat cruises, kayak rentals, hiking trails, etc.). Day trips to neighbouring Port Rexton, Elliston (for puffin spotting) and Bonavista are easy drives with wonderful sights. The SkerwinkTrail in Port Rexton is one of Canada's most beautiful hikes.

Very walkable with lovely older style houses.
Very walkable with lovely older style houses. We normally go to the theatre there but a Covid-19 outbreak canceled the show. The best thing…… the dining experiences there! We did The Twine Loft restaurant. 10/10! Great servers as well and lovely craft beer selection too enjoy.

We like everything about Trinity.
We like everything about Trinity. We have been going there for about 15 years. We don’t have any complaints. The Dock Marina, the Eriksen Premises and Rising Tide Theatre are our favourite places. It is very easy to get around and the people are very nice.
Bishop White Manor is ideally located in the beautiful town of Trinity, an easy drive from all the sights of the Bonavista Peninsula. We stayed one night at the Fisher's Loft in Port Rexton and a second night at Bishop White Manor, and we found the Manor just as charming and comfortable as the Fisher's Loft and for a very reasonable price. The property is lovely, beds are comfortable, everything very clean, and the staff friendly and helpful.
There are B & B's that sort of feel like you are in your grandmother's basement .. or there are places that feel like your best friend from university (who majored in interior design and hospitality) asked you to come stay at her house 🤩. It was SO nice to have a small fridge and good coffee in the room!
The host Michele was fantastic. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all the necessities. She provided breakfast in a covid friendly manner and she even provided delicious snacks. The house was beautiful , and I would choose this over a hotel once again.
This is a beautiful heritage home that has been turned into a lovely accommodation for visiting Trinity. The breakfast that is included in the stay is located in the other property owned by the same folks, just across the lane. Wonderful serving staff.
Trinity is small so we were close to everything. The house had an excellent view of the water. The room was comfortable as was the shared area. Coffee and tea was provided in the house and breakfast was in a near by accommodation.
Very comfortable and well appointed room in a lovely house on the road in to Trinity. Friendly hosts take the time to send directions and welcome guests. Fantastic coffee and very thoughtful (and delicious) treat in the morning!
Michele was a phenomenal host. She was accessible and super friendly. Her freshly baked treats were amazing! The house is quiet and beautifully decorated. Trinity is a small town and everything is nearby. Great place to stay!
breakfast was not included
we found there wasn't much to do-thought there was more from the reading I had done
pretty village
VERY CLEAN & WELL EQUIPPED
FRIENDLY STAFF IN THE CAFE ATTACHED TO THE STORE & OFFICE
Trinity is a lovely little town and the Eriksen properties were close to everything. The breakfast was very good. Parking was easy. The property was lovely and old world
