The breakfasts were great, and probably the highlight of my kids’ stay. The option to make their own waffles was a huge draw for them, and the flavour options were top notch.

Was sad that the restaurant was under renovations and breakfast was not available but the coffee was good. Bus stop right in front of the hotel is a big bonus.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had everything we needed: the kitchen equipment, the hairdryer, the iron... There was even a washing machine and a clothes dryer. The view from the suite was amazing and the staff very helpful and polite. Big thanks to Joel for the suite he chose for us and his excellent work. We received complimentary muffins and coffee for breakfast, which was very nice. We certainly want to return there in the future.

the apartment was very comfortable.
the apartment was very comfortable. It was worth the money for us to stay here. My only suggestion to the renters of the property is that the bed needs to be upgraded. It was comfortable enough but for big people, like me, comfort is everything when I sleep. Other than that, It was great!!

The area didn't seem very safe.
The area didn't seem very safe. Everything seemed far but on further exploration, it isn't -- convenience-wise I would recommend Surrey if you're going to be in and around the area much. Safety-wise, I wouldn't say it's totally unsafe, I'd only recommend one to be careful initially, assess for your own self, and decide if staying out after sundown is a good idea or not.

Surrey is my hometown. I am a Canadian citizen. It just so happened I needed a place to stay at the time and I got robbed by these people who rented me the place for 45 days. 8925 151 street Surrey BC. They took the money the day I moved in and promised to refund the damage deposit as soon as I vacated the place ($1400 CDN ). But that never happened to this day(12th of July 2023)

The thing is , that owner or manager, she doesn’t have manners. As we booked the hotel via booking .com but at she said there was no booking and the rate she told us was way to high . And she is not accepting intrac or cards only cash . And when we asked for refund she said no refunds and cut the phone

It was affordable for where I waned to go.
It was affordable for where I waned to go. Easy to get to Vancouver and other destination most times. Wonderful accommodation that I would like to book in the future instead of nearer to Vancouver where it is very expensive. If you didn't have a car it might not be so good, There was parking on the street and I never had a problem with that, Closer parking in the driveway for electric cars to charge. Must admit I didn't spend a lot of time in Surrey but I was able to find all the places I wanted. Chong Qing restaurant and Krispy Kreme doughnuts for example. Lots of other malls for shopping also. I was mostly visiting friends in the area.
Total actually we upgraded it
as tomorrow we had meeting and wanted two separate more rooms because we were friends of 5
Both rooms were very nice
They like quiet people like we are
After 11 Pm no person in common area as it was suggested to us for privacy and good sleep of family with kids
They have swore are room for family or pet owners
Free parking for us in front of property and free WIFi was great
Thank you million times
If you wanted to learn such of this in other hotel, we were supposed to pay at least two times more
Outstanding
Super easy to book over the phone call.
We explained wgat we are looking for and git exactly according our request
We paid over the phone after calling hotel manager. We could pay by direct E transfer but we were in hurry and revealed our credit information.
We received the receipt right a way
And from start to end of our stays we had a very fun time with our pet holder we hired.
We paid 29 dollar for small cat and 49 for our bigger cat.
Thanks manage t of Empress Palace who is super beautiful in and out
As the family of 5 we wanted something safe and close to amenities
We all loved it
We booked over the phone and paid on arrival
It was super clean with few respected guests around.
They do not fill all rooms for having better conditions for guests.
We saw only 6 rooms and that was perfect in our level
They have multiple levels and price depends on capacity of rooms and services.
It is a Royal Palace
Combination of feeling home and hotel
Very beautiful and warm vibe

The room was clean and spacious and the shower was great. Parking in the underground garage was 15 CAD per night which was acceptable. The continental breakfast was exceptional with a great variety to choose from such as fresh fruit, pastries and smoked salmon. The staff were very friendly and helpful…. The pool and jacuzzi area is very nice, there are a lot of seating areas which is nice. The hotel is located walking distance from some restaurants, so convenient to grab a bite to eat.
Everything was bad from the staff who we talked at the phone very rude asking for a cash for payment doesn't even want to talk to us face to face she asked us to come back to her when we have the cash money in the middle of the night she asked us to find a bank to widraw a money. Big no for me because usually hotel does not accept cash and debit card but this one is different. A SCAM HOTEL.
The hotel has been recenlty renovated and still looks in new condition. Room was not large but did have a couch, closet nice size tv and very comfortable bed. Bedding was clean and of good quality and we enjoyed a quiet nights sleep. Staff were great and a request for additional pillows was handled quickly by a phone call.
The hotel is a old world charm but had all amenities. Friendly staff. The owner was really a gem of a person. The breakfast was delicious. No complaints.
I didnt had the change to go for a can of coke and the humble person on the reception paid for it and wont even accept it later..
Very nice experience all together.
We had a pet dig and no hotel wanted to accept us that day
Luckily last minute we called them and they allow see our pet size by phone and we give them 29 dollar per day and started out trio with them in Vancouver
Our dog size was about a cat size
We might extend it as they have beautiful garden for us to stay
I guess I stayed about 100 hotels, motels, and many other places. Need not to say this was the most exceptional stay I've had. An immaculate and professional approach made our stay more classy and comfortable. No complaints at all. Highly recommend over and over again.
This is our second time staying in this hotel. Breakfast was good. The beds are comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. The location of the hotel is close to bus stops. Thankful to the front desk staff for allowing us to have a late checkout. :)
I like everything, so me and my family stayed in this
hotel for four nights. it was amazing, the room is clean
and big enough for 4 people, breakfast is included n
they have good variety.
the staff is very exceptional and helpful.
After days of hotel buffet breakfasts, it was wonderful to be able to order "a la carte" and have it served fresh at our table. Heated floors are appreciated during cool weather - I always enjoy having 'toasty' feet.
This small hotel is well located if you are staying in Surrey. Its clean, basic and was quiet during both of our stays. We stay in the area to visit family and it is the most reasonably priced hotel we have found.
For a newer hotel it was not maintained well or cleaned well. We found a used hair tie, lipstick and hair in the bed. Pool/hot tub should have been cleaner
