Everything at this hotel is excellent. The breakfast and waitress there is awesome. We have stayed here before and will continue to do so every time we are in the area. Lovely rooms and great value for money.

First time staying at The Crowne Plaza Saint John, and I loved it! Modern, nice views from my room. I loved the pool, and gym. I also ate at the attached restaurant, and the food was so delicious, my recommendation is the turkey dinner.
Don't hesitate to book at the Crowne Plaza Saint John! My stay was wonderful.

We took the ferry as foot passengers from Digby.
We took the ferry as foot passengers from Digby. There is a good taxi service from the ferry terminal. St John offers interesting walks (the reversing rapids is a good day trip on foot), a buzzing nightlife. It's an industrial city with interesting old buildings. Unfortunately the museum is closed indefinitely - hopefully that will be resolved.

It is a beautiful and interesting city.
It is a beautiful and interesting city. We didn't have time to explore much in the city, as we spent more time exploring along the coast. We enjoyed visiting the sea caves, the Bay of Fundy Trail, and the Reversing Falls.

It is a nice town with a lot of history.
It is a nice town with a lot of history. There are some nice places to walk along the water and the reversing falls are cool (best to have a car to visit since you have to go twice a day to get the full effect) We went to two nice restaurants when we were there, and we enjoyed wandering around the container village, the market. Billy's seafood was really good.
There is a bit of a homelessness issue. There are many people who are homeless who seem to mill around the city. We had a number of people yell at us as we walked and it was not pleasant.

The microbrewery/pubs were great.
The microbrewery/pubs were great. The downtown area is interesting. It is an industrial city. We went to the reversing falls. The center is across the street from the Irving Pulp and Paper factory. A bit disappointing.

We loved Saint John a lot . The people are very friendly.
We loved Saint John a lot . The people are very friendly. We also loved looking at the old buildings around town . The reversing falls are a must see ! We'll be back to stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites as well . Their staff are super friendly ,and a sweet young lady helped me find the perfect beach ⛱ great experience
Exceptional and amiable owner and staff (Brian). Location was excellent. Excellent view of the super full moon and water and Irving park. Nearby to needed amenities. Quiet location and therefore relaxing. In the room, the windows are across from each other facilitating a lovely ocean cross breeze ( no air conditioning, but not needed second week of August). I highly recommend Hillside in this budget range. Will book again next Saint John visit. Thank you Hillside!
Great location in central Saint John. Our room at this beautiful B&B was exquisite. We felt like we were on set for a historic film. Easy to access - we just called when we arrived and were directed to our room. Since we had to catch a ferry, our host Cheryl, cooked us a yummy early breakfast and got us out the door in good time. She also helped us to plan our route to avoid construction traffic.
The house was beautiful and my room and bed were so comfortable! I stayed for 4 nights and was beyond happy. It is walking distance to uptown in a Saint John and you are given maps and brochures with everything you would want to see and do. Breakfast was served every morning were you had the option for eggs or pancakes, juice and coffee! During the afternoon I would enjoy a cup of tea.
The Mahogany Manor was excellent! I highly recommend. The location is perfect for exploring Saint John, but what makes this place unbeatable are the lovely owners! Two amazing human beings who would go out of their way to be helpful! We really enjoyed! Best breakfast in Uptown Saint John, made fresh every day! Would stay there again for sure!
The house and garden are worth browsing around. Carl & Jim are very hospitable and friendly. They provide invaluable information and anecdotes about Saint John. Good breakfast served even when yoy have to catch the early Digby ferry. Jim made sure we were there on time. Thank you both for making Saint John so memorable.
The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausages, toast , cereal, pancakes.....great way to start your day. The breakfast offered was much more than what other hotels offer. Space to walk your dog. Loved having the drive up parking for your unit.
Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Perfect location close to everything in Saint John. Great service tracking us down after we accidentally left a bag in the room. Chipman Hill is saving old buildings throughout Saint John, so staying here helps support historic preservation.
Large, interesting house with a lovely host who cooked us some amazing breakfasts. A 20 minute walk into Saint John meant we didn't need to use the car which was very welcome after a long drive to get there. Nice view over the bay.
When I walked through the doors I was aw struck. The lobby and the entire building is beautiful. I stayed here in 2016 and the hotel was very different. The restaurant is now more upscale and the food is AMAZING.
The hot breakfast was great and had many options. The beds were super comfortable and the staff was very kind. The hotel was situated a short drive to downtown. Everything was very clean and met our expectations!
Very clean, spacious and beautiful rooms. Quiet and located perfect for my needs. Staff was helpful, courteous and polite. Breakfast was great. I recommend Chateau Saint John.
Nice hotel located close to freeway, close to shopping/restaurants. We just stayed for one night. I would consider staying here if I visit Saint John again.
