Fantastic views and a lovely space to relax in. Well equipped to eat in if you choose to and watch a movie on their netflix, which was perfect for us when we arrived on a cold, wet late afternoon. Lovely fireplace, apartment warms up pretty well and the beds were nice and comfortable. It was a comfortable home away from home. Host was easy to communicate with. Parking at the front of the house made for easy access carrying our luggage up the stairs. I could have easily stayed here a night or two longer.

Location was great! Cabins were very nice, however, sorry there should be a covering for narrow window, not everyone appreciates the light of day when it happens! lol

Beautiful location, kitchen was very well equipped and use of a barbecue on the balcony along with a fire for the evenings was a lovely additional touch. Lorena was so helpful and friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again in future!

The twisty road to the tiny and remote community of Port Renfrew winds past dense forests and rushing rivers. The Wild Renfrew Seaside Cottages are a perfect location for enjoying a peaceful night listening to the sounds of the ocean or staring at brilliant stars. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. There was an outdoor gas fire pit for each unit, perfect for enjoying your favourite beverage while star-gazing. The nearby pub serves tasty food from noon to 7:00 p.m. (I was there in April. Their summertime hours might be longer. I didn't ask.) My short-legged pooch, Sparky, and I hiked a bit of the massive Juan de Fuca Provincial Park, and Botany Bay. This is a great location to wind down and relax.

The town is beautiful and the surrounding beaches and parks are outstanding!
If you're planning an off-season visit, be aware that places don't open on regular hours or days. If you plan on eating in (at your stay) bring food from Victoria/Duncan etc. The Market has limited supplies and the staff was not too friendly.
The evening staff at Coastal Kitchen Cafe seemed upset that we came in 50 mins to closing, and treated us like they had better things to do. Food was overpriced and not a good value.

Great place for relaxing and getting in contact with nature.
Be aware that the small town has only one little grocery store with limited open hours, also few options of restaurants, but an awesome place to relax.

Small town for a first time visit and mostly just one night stay. I'd come back in the summer time to do more outdoor activities. It's easy to get around Port Renfrew and everyone is friendly.

We drove to Port Renfrew from Duncan.
We drove to Port Renfrew from Duncan. Make sure you stop at the Tourist Information building and talk to a helpful staff person. We were given a map of the Marine Circle Route that was extremely helpful.
The town is quaint and has breathtaking views. We had the delicious seafood chowder twice at the Renfrew Pub (excellent free wifi). There is little to no cell service, but wifi is surprisingly good.

Stayed in renfrew for one night, this is out second time...
Stayed in renfrew for one night, this is out second time coming to stay as we love it here. Botanical beach is amazing, so cool to walk around. Theres loads of hikes to do, there is also boat trips if you are interested. It is a very small place so you may not be able to get everything you need here so bring supplies. There is a general store a gift shop and a pub. The pub is pricey but the portions are incredible. You also need a car to come here as everything is fairly far.
Port Renfrew is wild, it is great, and it is small. The cottage is located at the center of Port Renfrew, even though it may not mean much due to the town's size. But it is very close to the restaurants. The cottage is within a large compound so it feels safe, parking is easy, right in front of the cottage. The cottage is very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped, which makes it very easy to cook. It matters when only 2 restaurants are open, and only until 7pm. Host is good with communication.
We had the 2 bedroom lower unit, we still had a nice view despite this. We loved the patio and fireplace space as well. Excellent accommodations if you have a young child (provided high chair and pack and play and were flexible with check out). Bedroom space was comfortable, nice to have patio doors on both rooms. Good wifi and Netflix provided. we didn’t use but the option for laundry and dishwasher was a bonus. Nice proximity to botanical beach, sombrio and mystic.
Absolutely amazing. I do not have any complain about this place. This is possibly one of the best (if not the best) place to stay in Port Renfrew. I have stayed in other places but this is definitely the best price/quality wise. It felt so relaxing being in the patio with the garden heater on and using the grill. The bed and the sofa/bed were very good, and the cabin was fully equiped. Honestly I am looking forward to stay here again in my next trip to Port Renfrew
West coast lodge is cozy and beautiful place surrounded by wilderness and clouds (yes they can be that low in the summer months too), staff were great, check in and out boxes are great convenience, and kitchen with all the gadgets and appliances is a bonus. Great place to disconnect given no cell reception in the town. PS. Bring your own groceries if you're staying here for couple of days and extra cash just in case (only local grocery store, no banks, arms).
Spectacular apartment overlooking Port Renfrew Bay. It was quiet and private and close to Botanical Beach and Avatar Grove. Cooking facilities were excellent, and the cupboards were stocked with good spices. PR has limited grocery stores so buy your groceries ahead of time. It is off the grid, which is the charm, but has decent Wifi. The decor is predominantly wood, with many beautiful exotic woods. It was a pleasure to be in these surroundings.
The cabin was clean & cozy, the location was perfect! its close to the beach, hikes & restaurants. The cabin also offers view of the ocean from the balcony . The owners were also lovely & were very informative with all the things to do in & around the port renfrew area! My favorite part was the hot tub it was a big plus after a long day at the beach ! Would most definitely recommend & will be back!
Very cosy and private cabin
Well stocked kitchen so cooked a few evenings
Loved the outdoor fire pit and great to chill out in front of a campfire with a glass of red wine after a long day walking
Great location and near to all restaurants in Port Renfrew and many day walks
The owner is very helpful and went out of her way to make our stay amazing
Tilby's Rainbow cottage in Port Renfrew was incredible. So clean and comfortable, and a well stocked, functional kitchen. The water view is amazing and we used the bbq each night. Great spot for hiking in the Port Renfrew area. Short drive to Botanical Beach and Avatar Grove and Lonely Doug.
It’s a great location close to town, trails, and great beaches
Close to restaurants but also fully equipped to cook or BBQ.
Awesome deck with table and chairs, a propane fire pit and a killer view of the water.
Cozy chalet with all the comforts. Definitely recommend.
Wonderful location with beautiful views. Perfect place to stay while exploring Port Renfrew and the surrounding region. The check-in was simple and the hosts provided all information that we could have needed. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful, quiet location perfect to unplug and explore beautiful beaches and hikes. Cabins are relatively well maintained, freshly painted, new electric fireplaces. Beds are comfortable enough.
Amazing little cabin. A great location, friendly staff, pet friendly and the linens were well stocked. Great value place to stay comfortably in Port Renfrew.
