The Rene Levesque museum-garden was excellent.
The Rene Levesque museum-garden was excellent. A most entertaining way of learning about the life of this great man, whether or not you agreed with his politics. With the aid of pictures and a write-up on various stations on an outdoor walkabout, you learn, listening in French or English, about the essence and character of this man from childhood through his school years to his experiences as a journalist during W.W.II, then a radio broadcaster, then a television host and finally as the politician who led the separatist movement. Most enlightening and educational and never dull.

new carlisle itself is a good location to explore the area.
new carlisle itself is a good location to explore the area. we especially enjoyed the rene levesque museum and the luna cafe. bonaventure is also nice to explore as mentioned above. the acadain museum and the staff there were very informative.
