It was perfect, almost like being at home. All amenities, fridge, stove, coffee, Air Fryer, toaster, Toaster oven, microwave, almost everything you can think of, I missed of nothing to do a meal. It was great, didn’t have to depend on restaurants for my stay, brought what I had from home for food and condiments and was able to do what I wanted based on what I brought with me. Home away from home.
Beautiful view of the water (ice at this time if the year), but still nice view.
Even a separate location for a TV and Game room, and small eating area for other guests not in apartment style rooms.
Totally great place and great owners.

The weather was perfect for hiking and exploring, and it was past the blackfly season. The staff were very helpful in suggesting hikes, trails and local points of interest. It was a quiet, thoroughly relaxing week. The local museums were all closed due to covid; museums would have added to our enjoyment.

I was here on business and really didn't spend much time in Haileybury except when I was in my room. It is the beginning of winter here and we are in the midst of a pandemic so things are much more difficult at this time. I ate mostly fast food which was readily available to me during my daytime travels. It is easy to get around the Haileybury and Tritown area in a vehicle but the roads can be bumpy.

Be sure to visit the Haileybury Heritage Museum.
Be sure to visit the Haileybury Heritage Museum. It's small and unsophisticated but it has a very good collection of artifacts and information; it tells a fascinating history of this town. The manager was extraordinarily helpful with our questions and did a great job of explaining Haileybury's history. Bring your bikes! There's a great bike path along the lake. We also visited nearby Cobalt, for mining history. There's an OK little museum, but the do-it-yourself mine tour is quite interesting, too. There's a beachside park that looks great for families, with a swimming pond, complete with a fountain and a huge water slide.AAnonymousUnited States of America

The food served on the terrasse or take-out (no inside restaurant) is an excellent blend of indian (not too spicy, just right) and traditional (butter chicken poutine, pizza on nan bread).
