Anneke served us a fantastic meal the night we came and brunch the next morning. What can I say? This is one of the best Bed and Breakfasts we´ve ever been to! Starting with the kindness of the owner (due to a snowstorm we arrived a day late, for which she showed absolute flexibility), followed by a warm welcome, the spotlessly clean, stylish and cosy rooms, and a wonderful breakfast in the mornings. Laarne was perfectly situated for our family visits in Gent, without having to deal with the parking -and traffic issues of the city. A pity we didn´t have the time to explore the castle and the surroundings, but we already look forward to coming back!
