We stayed in this place few times it very good place as in rooms are big and lots of space. last time we stayed we had issues with the tv staff tried to fix it however didn't work.

Excellent location. Good base for walking to Hughesdale and Oakleigh Stations & Chadstone SC, plus restaurants and food. Kitchen in apartment was sufficient for simple needs and great to have as an option over a regular hotel room.

It was close to Chadstone mall. A big room with big couch. It was relatively clean just outdated. We arrived at 9pm and they had a number to call to check in. Lock was a pin. Separate toilet from shower. Kitchen facilities (we didn't use them though). Train 15 min walk away.

The room was sufficient, though on the small side, it is really only for relaxing after a long working day. The Monash campus is conveniently just a short, few minutes walk, and there is a shopping centre just around the corner if you need to grab a bite or pick up some presents.

Do not believe what you see of the photographs of this place...
Do not believe what you see of the photographs of this place. It.looks 100 times nicer than what you actually get. This place is run down and filthy. The photos on the booking site appear, light, bright, comfortable and clean. What you actually get is quite different. Broken toilet seat, stains on curating and in showers. The rooms are dark and small, not light and bright as advertised. There are handwritten signs demanding that if your dog pool you clean up (!?) If you litter, you clean up. There were please of rubbish bags in reception, staff were dressed in track pants. Reception had an old.couch. gardens overgrown and weedy..there was an old car missing its wheels parked in the car park. MASSIVELY misleading website and overwhelmingly disappointing for customer. We stayed elsewhere.. This needs investigating... surely we can't sell this service honestly with the website photos so misleading.

I only slept at Motel and travelled by taxi.
I only slept at Motel and travelled by taxi. All meals and the rest of my time was spent in Carnegie. There the choice of restaurants with fantastic service will blow your mind. Wherever you stay make sure you eat in Carnegie. I have no other experiences of Oakleigh.AAnonymous - 2.0Scored 2.0
I didn't like Oakleigh at all...
I didn't like Oakleigh at all...It was so dirty and I will never stay there again. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The mirror in the bedroom was so dirty you could even see yourself. I thought it was a reasonable prices motel but after staying there it was so over priced. Not happy about my stay at all.BelindaAustralia
