A delightful place, with all the things you need in very close proximity. There are some great places for walking, the Anzac Memorial Walk was beautiful. The fish and chip shop across the street from the park was fantastic! some of best fish I've had. Take a day trip to Great Keppel Island on the ferry, you can even take your fur baby, no charge for them! What a treat, we all had a fabulous day there. There are activities to do, or just relax and have a beer and swim the azure waters. I highly recommend it! If you feel you need some retail therapy, Yeppoon is 15 minutes up the road and they even have a Bunnings! :)

Emu Park has all the facilities you could want for a quiet...

Emu Park has all the facilities you could want for a quiet coastal weekend or week. Everything is close enough to walk from central accommodation. The development in Emu Park so far is low rise and gives the location a quieter, friendly, slower paced feeling for a beach holiday. It is certainly a place for relaxation and reflection. Well worth a visit if you are into beach walking, exploring rock pools and grazing your way around the eateries and coffee shops. Plenty of local history to take in at the museum and the Anzac Walk to the Singing Ship. The views from the Singing Ship towards the islands and hinterland are great for sunrise and sunset. The foreshore development at Main Beach provides all the facilities you could need for time at the beach.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how good the motel room was. There was even a little private courtyard for us to enjoy. We enjoyed great meals at the local, and were blown away by the beautification that has taken place on the foreshore.

Take time to follow the headland board walk through the area devoted to commemoration of personnel who have served Australia in wars. See also the " singing ship " a memorial to Captain Cook who charted the adjacent coastline.

my room was clean and comfortable, the manager of the Motel was very accommodating as I had my little dog with me. he was able to stay for an extra $10 per night, which was terrific. the bed was comfortable. I had friends staying at the caravan park, so the Motel was in close proximity. the grounds were tidy, they had a washing machine which came in handy.

We did not get the opportunity to review the accommodation as our booking was cancelled only minutes from our arrival. The room could not be used due to a plumbing problem. Very disappointing as we had to return to Rockhampton to get accommodation.

The town of Emu Park and the locals, with the exception of those that manage the motel. Locals are very pleasant just a shame there is not another motel as I would recommend this one to my worst enemy.
