Sölden is a great place to go for a ski holiday. If you are with kids Giggijoch is where you want to ski as 3 ski schools are having their offices there. If you prefer less beginners on the slops, the other gondolas to the left of Giggijoch are better. There's plenty of accommodation, restaurants, supermarkets and ski rental shops in the village. Sölden is easily accessed via a scenic route through the Otztal valley, one hour’s drive from Innsbruck. Frequent public transport occurs by train and a regional bus service. The town of Sölden is situated at an altitude of 1377 m. Skiers can explore up to 3250 meters above sea level, comprising 34 slope kilometers via its comprehensive and efficient ski lift network. Magnificent 360 views of the alps and its glaciers. Snow very likely in off peak season with resultant no or minimal ski lift queues. If you’re a 007-Bond fan, do not miss the one of its kind ‘Elements’ installation at 3058m! The town provides abundantly with good value accommodation, warm hospitality and traditional tirolean food. Free bus shuttles between the two ski lift/ gondola stations in town. Make use of the ski equipment depots available at these stations to leave your gear overnight.

Beautiful scenery and wonderful Alps invite you to slow down and spend some time contemplating the nature, hiking or cycling during the summer and to skiing during winter. The city has got numerous accommodation at its disposal, from cosy small hotels to large facilities offering excuisite level of services, excellent food and relaxation options. Multiple restaurants encourage to step in for a bite or swig. Solden clean , several sports stores with good sportswear. You can rent bicycles .There is a pharmacy, a post office, There is a bus that goes to the villages of Vent and Obergurgl. Lots of very nice mountain trails.....

- 9.5Scored 9.5ExceptionalRated exceptional· 145 reviewsit is the perfect place to stay in if you want to ski and have easy access to town - on your skis you can easily get from the hotel to the cable car that takes you up to the very top of the mountains and additionally, around 100 meters away from the hotel, there is a free lift that takes you down to town and back between 8:30 - 23:00 - the most convenient place I could find in Sölden. the stuff is super nice, very helpful, the breakfasts are delicious- if I ever get back to Sölden, it will definitely be the place to come back to

The location was nice as a starting point for our travels. The bus was a 2-minute walk from the apartment. The cableway was a 10-minute walk from the apartment. A lot of interesting points around the hotel. The shop was really close just as the restaurants and bars. As a bonus, we got a Summer card with lots of sales.

It had 2 toilets, a separate bath and shower (in the same room) and an infrared spa. The balcony is huge and overlooks the mountains. It is only a 3-5 minute walk from the Giggijoch lift. Awesome room with artificial fireplace was just stunning. Lovely view, outstanding spa (in price of course) and close to whatever you may need. In elevator I felt like I was in Dubai. Thank you very much for unforgetable stay. :-)

Room was clean, spaceous, two TVs with many channels, and with terrace. Hotel is close to ski lifts and gondolas, as well, there is complimentary access for 3 hours to spa that is literaly around the corrner. Restaurant is good, I strongly recommend pizzas there.
