The staff is friendly and helpful. They did everything to help us with our needs. The breakfast and dinner are typical Austrian -- homemade and delicious. The location is excellent. You can easily reach mountains, lakes, rivers, caves, cities, castles... The hotel's swimming pool with an outstanding view of the mountains is stunning!!!

It is a good location between the great ski centers of Kaprun, Zell Am See, and Saalbach. It has a very nice ski room with ski lockers for each room. Rooms with big beds and nice bathrooms. Very pleasant stuff. It is great that you have a pass for the great SPA center in Kaprun, although it is 15 mins drive from the hotel.

We also enjoyed that it was not a Hotel Business it was a holiday on a farm style easy and relaxed. I traveled with my parents in the 80s and they loved the atmosphere from the castle as well as the one from the farm side with fresh eggs and local food.
