People make a difference! Super cozy place where you feel like a family guest. The window view was so great! The balcony, the room size, and the facilities for drying ski equipment - super nice! The breakfast was nice and tasty. Very clean everywhere.
The family-run PEOPLE'S Hotel is located at the entrance to Kaprun, directly at the ski elevator 3K K-onnection with direct access to the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier.
Great location just outside the busy towns of Zell am See and Kaprun, but still everything is within arms reach. Amazing mountain views from the balcony of our room. The host - Elisabeth - is very friendly and gave some good tips on nearby restaurants. You can go hiking right from this location up to the mountains, the Hochalpenstrasse is also just around the corner. We stayed here 4 nights and would love to come back again.
the landlady is very friendly and has a pro-client approach....
The room is spacious, it gets cleaned every day, serves good breakfast and has excellent parking facilities. The shuttle bus to Zell am See & Kaprun is available.so no need to take a car when going skiing...the parking lots either in Kaprun and Zell am See get full before 9am. We really enjoyed our stay at penxion Andrea.
We chose this hotel for 2 nights on a motorcycle tour because of its location at the foot of the Grossglockner Pass and a pass to ride this toll road was included in the room price. Off street parking with no charge. We had breakfast and dinner and both were good, the trout was very fresh, straight out of the tank! Attractive rooms with balconies.
Very beautiful hotel in a small village. Peaceful and quiet. VERY fancy spa area, better than in many big hotels. Also have a gym (although I didn't use it).
Very nice service and meals. Big rooms. NO complains.
There are 2 big ski resorts in distance of 15 mins drive. One was open in the summer (went for snowboarding in June :)).
Very nice place, you can see mountains from your window and balcony. Ideal place for cyclists. You can start here well to go on Grossglocker road as well as in the hotel is room to park bicycles. Large parking place. Very nice restaurant with friendly staff wearing traditional Alp-culture dress.
Location was excellent for an early start on Grossglockner. The surroundings were great. There is a cute waterfall 10 min walk from the hotel. The ping pong table was a bonus. We have not used the restaurant on site, so I cannot comment on it. However it was packed when we got there at night.
Convenient location to stay overnight and immediately start a road trip across Hochalpenstrasse in the morning. The owner did not want first to check us after 10pm, but we managed to persuade her to do that (asking in advance). Overall, a lovely wooden hotel with cheap price and nice rooms.
+ A hotel with an excellent price-quality ratio
+ Location and parking lot next to the hotel were a big bonus for us
+ Private bathroom inside the room
+ Room was modern and clean
The biggest surprise was the owner - such a friendly, helpful and welcoming person. Thank you so much!
The staff was very friendly. The hotel is well located, near the Grossglockner alpine road, it's very clean, confortable and cozy. Although it is located near the road, it is very quiet. The breakfast was excellent and varied.
The hosts are hospital
The breakfasts are wonderful, very fresh.
Location is very close to everything we wanted to see. Special thanks for the elevator from my legs - very seldom you can find it in a small hotel.
Good location, close to the entrance of High Alpine road and 15 mins drive to Zell am See. Several hiking routes and programs are available in that area. Very good breakfast, clean rooms.
Excellent hotel, large rooms, clean, good location. Entrance ticket to the Grossglockner road is included in the price along with other attractions. H.ighly recommended!
Really top! Good location with nice view. The hotel is family friendly with playground and pool. We had a very enjoyable holidays and I would definitely recommend.
